Abstract: A chair having an adjustable backrest and control actuator disposed forward of the backrest hinge, for controlling the backrest angle. The chair has a backrest support hinged to the backrest away from the backrest/chair hinge, and coupled directly or indirectly to track runners which run along elongated support tracks. A positioner is controlled by the control actuator and coupled to the backrest support and track runners, limiting the extent to which the track runners may move along the support tracks and thus control the angle of the backrest.

As located the mousepad assembly sits in the user's lap. It has a profile that has smoothly rounded comers and a recess for accommodating the torso of the user. The mousepad sits at a skewed angle relative to the user's lap. The mousepad is reversibly mountable in left-handed or right handed configurations.

Abstract: Swimming goggles include an AM/FM radio assembly as well as a lap counter. The radio assembly includes earphones that also include foam for plugging the swimmer's ear to prevent water from entering that ear. The goggles also include plastic temple pieces that serve a dual function of securely supporting the goggles on the swimmer and supporting the radio and lap counter.
