    Abstract: A method for remotely testing an application on a device is disclosed. The method includes connecting a development system to the device. The device is hosted in a remote environment and is not directly accessible to the development system. The development system connects to the device via an agent that is coupled to the device, wherein the agent is configured to receive application data for the device and control signals from the development system and operate the device according to the control signals. The method further includes fetching the collected device data from the device, wherein the agent is configured to collect the device data from the device and the development system retrieves the collected device data from the agent.
