Abstract: A communication device transmits to a relaying device a transmission right grant request for requesting a grant of a transmission right to a transmitting device, and the relaying device determines whether the received transmission right grant request is a command associated with the transmission right of the communication device or a command associated with the transmitting device, and if it determines that it is the command associated with the transmitting device, it grants the transmission right to the transmitting device, and starts broadcasting of data being transmitted from the transmitting device. In addition, when receiving from the communication device an operation command for operating the transmitting device, the relaying device determines a type of the command and transmits it to the transmitting device.

Abstract: A tag access control system capable of setting an appropriate parameter for controlling a reader/writer can be provided. The tag access control system includes a control portion that controls data communication between an IC tag and a reader/writer by sending a command to the reader/writer in accordance with a parameter and receiving an execution result; and a parameter adjustment portion that adjusts the parameter to an appropriate value. The parameter adjustment portion includes a parameter change portion that changes the parameter a plurality of times, a result storage portion that records execution results of commands based on a plurality of parameters that are changed and a calculation portion that calculates an appropriate parameter based on the execution results stored in the result storage portion.

Abstract: In order to appropriately deliver content data to users participating in a teleconference, following steps are executed: receiving a URI of the content data to be delivered to participating users participating in the teleconference from the user terminal of a specific participating user; obtaining the content data corresponding to the URI from a server relating to the received URI, and storing the content data into a content data storage device; and transmitting the content data stored in the content data storage device to the user terminals of the participating users. Only by designating the URI, the server for the teleconference obtains and transmits the content data corresponding to the URI. Therefore, it is possible to use the content data regardless of the access authority of the participating users.

When a user (delivery recipient 3) purchases a product from a vendor and applies for delivery, a management server 4 accepts a delivery application from a vendor client 1. The management server 4 notifies the delivery recipient client 3 of the application for delivery, and prompts the user to designate delivery terms. For example, a delivery terms designation form is provided on a web page, and the URL for that web page is provided in the application for delivery notification. The delivery recipient client 3 accesses the web page and refers to a list of products to be delivered to him or herself. Moreover, the delivery recipient designates delivery terms when he or she is certain of his or her schedule. A delivery business is notified of these delivery terms.

A message is received by messaging device 1 from access device 2, which is a telephone set for example, and is stored in message database 3 as is without further processing. In addition to the message, messaging device 1 also receives a message destination designation from access device 2. Messaging device 1 reports a storing location for the message on an IRC, a URL for example, by sending a text message to the message destination. The IRC client notifies the user of the text message in real time. A user who views the text message makes a request to provider device 4 to provide the message using acquisition device 8. Abstract: A file protection system for protecting a file which is stored in a storage unit includes a storage position deciding unit for deciding a positional-information corresponding to an area in which information of the file is stored in the storage unit and an encryption unit for encrypting the information of the file in accordance with a predetermined algorithm using at least a part of the positional-information decided by the storage position deciding unit. Information obtained by the encryption unit is stored in the area identified by the positional-information in the storage unit. A file protection system is operable when information of a file which was encrypted as described above is read out from a storage unit.
