Abstract: A combustion line, having a combustion liner body and rings welded inside the liner body, is fabricated by enlarging the diameter of each ring so that the spacing between the outer pheripheral surface of the ring and the inner peripheral surface of the liner body may fall within a predetermined range. Subsequently tacking the ring and the liner body by lap resistance welding in the state in which the diameter of the ring has been enlarged; thereafter, brazing the rings and the liner body which have been tacked.

Abstract: An apparatus for welding of a member to be welded in a vacuum chamber accommodating a part of the member, comprises a housing for defining the vacuum chamber, the housing including upper and lower housings between which the member to be welded is held, the upper and lower housings each having front and rear sides; an electron gun mounted on the upper housing; a drive device for moving the electron gun in a welding direction; an adjustment member or adjustment liner plate disposed on the lower housing for defining spaces allowing a part of the member to be welded to fit in at the front and rear sides of the lower housing so that the entirety of a welding portion of the member is in the vacuum chamber and both sides of the welding line are exposed in vacuum; sealing material for sealing between the housing, the adjustment member or adjustment liner plate and the member to be welded.

Abstract: An apparatus for continuously winding a rectangular wire, or a strip metal comprising a coil former consisting of upper and lower former members adapted to cooperate with each other for clamping the strip metal and arranged to be rotatable independently of each other, an arm for clamping and bending the strip metal to shape same to the profile of the coil former, a cutting blade secured to the upper former member and adapted to cut protrusion on the strip metal upon rotation of the upper former member, which protrusions result from the bending of the strip metal, and an extraction cylinder for clamping and extracting the bent strip metal from the coil former.
