  • Patent number: 6819356
Abstract: In an image pick-up mode, when a piece of image information is picked-up by an image information acquisition unit, pieces of position information acquired by a position measurement unit are stored in a storage unit together with the pieces of image information in association with each other. In a playback mode, when the scroll key of a key input unit is kept pressed for a predetermined time or more, pieces of position information stored in the storage unit in association with pieces of image information are sequentially read out. An arithmetic unit sequentially calculates the distance between pick-up points of two pieces of image information, and a search unit determines whether the calculated distance is equal to or longer than a predetermined distance acquired by a condition acquisition unit. When the search unit searches for a calculated distance equal to or longer than the predetermined distance, a display control unit displays, on a display unit, a searched item of image information, i.e.

  • Patent number: 6734910
Abstract: In an ordinary shooting mode, when a user overlooks a shutter chance without conducting a shutter operation in a state in which a present through (finder) image is presented on a display section, or a user finds that the user has lost a shutter chance by confirming a shot still image or conducting another operation after operating a shutter button, if a prescribed operation (half pressing down of the shutter button or operation of a mode switching button) is conducted, a mode is switched to a through-image retrieving mode wherein, a through image displayed on the display section is replaced with past through images while being retrieved effective, and the user awaits a second shutter chance in a state in which a past through image is present on the display section and when the shutter button is operated, a past through image present at a time point of the operation of the shutter button is recorded for retention in a flash memory as a shot still image.

  • Patent number: 5832386
Abstract: A portable telecommunications apparatus which is capable of communicating with a destination communication apparatus, such as a public radio base station, through a radio telecommunications channel, including: a detector which detects if the portable telecommunication apparatus has entered a service area of the destination communication apparatus. A sound generator notifies a user by a sound when it is detected that the portable telecommunications apparatus has entered the service area of the destination communication apparatus, and a sounding mode setting device which sets a sounding mode in which the sound is generated by the sound generator when it is detected that the portable telecommunication apparatus has entered the service area of the destination communication apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5617468
Abstract: A portable telephone set is provided with a remote control button for remotely controlling the base station telephone set by operating the button. If the portable telephone set is out of the service area of the base station set when the remote control button is operated, the portable telephone set calls the base station set by using the telephone numbers of the base station set stored in the RAM of the portable telephone set to connect it to the base station set by way of a line and thereafter transmits a remote control signal for the operated remote control button to the base station set. If the portable telephone set receives control information from a radio base station as it enters the service area of the radio base station from outside the service area, the speaker of the portable telephone set sounds to notify the user of the situation.
