  • Patent number: 5357805
Abstract: This invention relates to a pressure measurement apparatus for inspecting therapentic energy waves, e.g. shock waves or ultrasonic waves. The pressure measurement apparatus for inspecting focal position and pressure of therapeutic energy waves comprises a pressure sensing sheet which changes visually or electrically according to the pressure, and a marker for setting the focal position, mounted on the pressure sensing sheet. Also, the apparatus for inspecting focal position and pressure of therapeutic energy waves in a water tank, comprises, a pressure sensing sheet which changes visually or electrically according to the pressure, a mount for holding the pressure sensing sheet as a flat shape, a mount holder for holding the mount, a marker for setting the focal position, held above the pressure sensing sheet from the mount holder, and holder means for holding the mount holder into the water tank.

  • Patent number: 5174294
Abstract: A shock wave treatment apparatus, in which a shock wave generator generates a shock wave toward a living body having an object to be disintegrated by the shock wave, and an ultrasonic wave probe transmits an ultrasonic wave toward the living body and receives an ultrasonic wave echo from the living body, in which a B-mode processor forms a B-mode section image from the ultrasonic wave echo, and a color flow mapping processor forms a color flow mapping image from the ultrasonic wave echo, and in which the B-mode section image and the color flow mapping image are displayed on a display. A processor for obtaining doppler information from the ultrasonic wave echo to reproduce doppler sounds from the doppler information may be also provided.

  • Patent number: 5095907
Abstract: In an acoustic wave therapy apparatus, a holder is provided with an irradiation device for generating acoustic waves for medical treatment, and a bag having a variable size and containing an acoustic wave propagation medium. The holder is also provided with a probe rod having at its one end an ultrasonic probe for ultrasonic tomographic imaging. The probe rod has at least one opening at its one end. A pipe is connected to the opening of the probe rod. The pipe is connected to fluid equipment for supplying and discharging the acoustic wave propagation medium into and from the bag member. The holder is held by a hand-type holding apparatus. A connector for connecting and disconnecting the pipe is arranged on a C-arm included in the hand-type holding apparatus.
