  • Patent number: 5381879
Abstract: A torque absorber adapted for power transmission systems, in which raceway surfaces of the inner and outer rings are of mono-hyperboloid of revolution, rollers are arranged between the raceways so as to come into line contact with the raceways at an angle slanting to a plane including the center axis of the inner ring, a power transmission rotation body or the housing is connected to the inner and outer rings through a bearing or pins, and a spring plate is provided therein to push the outer ring.

  • Patent number: 5328012
Abstract: A rolling-contact bearing type clutch which comprises an inner ring having an inner raceway surface of a mono-hyperboloid of revolution; an outer ring having an outer raceway surface of a mono-hyperboloid of revolution; rollers disposed in between the inner and outer rings with their center axes slanted, and with the surface of each roller being in line contact with the inner and outer raceway surfaces; and energizing devices energizing either the inner ring or the outer ring in the axis line direction to narrow the gap of the raceways; and annular members provided on the inner and outer rings so as to bring possible axial movements of the rollers to a stop.

  • Patent number: 5322374
Abstract: An antifriction roller bearing, in which two sets of units are arranged so as to face each other in an one-axis direction. Each unit comprises an inner ring, an outer ring and rollers, the inner and outer rings being provided respectively with a raceway track of mono-hyperboloid of revolution about the one axis. The rollers are arranged so as to come into linear contact with the inner and outer raceway tracks and slant to a plane including the one axis at an angle. An energizing means is arranged between both the inner rings or both the outer rings to energize the inner rings or the outer rings so as to narrow down the spacing of the raceway tracks, the outer rings or the inner rings which are not subject to the energizing force being stationary.

  • Patent number: 5309781
Abstract: A stepless speed change gear that is small in size, light in weight, simple in construction, secure in operation, long in service life and capable of high-output speed changes. An input shaft crank (3) and an input side member (4) are mounted on an input shaft (1) and an output shaft (2) via a one-way clutch mechanism (100), respectively, and the respective members are coupled to each other by means of an input connecting rod (5) and an output connecting rod (6). Also, a speed-change link (7) is coupled to a junction point (B) of these links at one end thereof, and the other end thereof (Q) is allowed to move to any position within a certain range and to be fixed at that point. Also, the one-way clutch is a rolling bearing clutch. Variable speed change can securely be obtained with a simple mechanism. In a case where the rolling bearing clutch is used, high-output speed change is possible with the stepless speed change gear that is small in size and light in weight.
