    Abstract: A fixed amount discharge container includes: a syringe barrel 3; and a piston 8 inserted in the syringe barrel 3 so as to be movable in a longitudinal direction, thereby defining a fluid chamber between the syringe barrel 3 and the piston 8. One of the syringe barrel 3 and the piston 8 includes a guide 3c that is extended in a longitudinal direction. The other of the syringe barrel 3 and the piston 8 includes a slider 9 that is movable in the guide 3c along with the other of the syringe barrel 3 and the piston 8.     Abstract: At the time of gripping a writing instrument, a certain degree of gripping force is required for the thumb and other fingers gripping the grip section so that the grip section will not slip. The normal way for supporting the writing instrument only at three points by the thumb, the index finger and the middle finger is not enough for reducing the loads to the thumb and other fingers because excessively large force is unconsciously exerted to the thumb and other fingers. It is also difficult to put the writing instrument in a pocket, a pencil case, etc. When gripping the writing instrument, the direction for gripping the barrel is forcibly determined.

    Abstract: A slider type mechanical pencil has an outer tubular member having a front end and a rear end. An inner tubular member is disposed in the outer tubular member for axial movement therein and has a lead advancement mechanism for axial movement within the outer tubular member to advance a pencil lead toward the front end of the outer tubular member. A slider has a first end portion projecting from the rear end of the outer tubular member and a second end portion. The slider extends into the outer tubular member so that the first end portion of the slider can be pressed in the axial direction relative to the outer tubular member to move the inner tubular member and the lead advancement mechanism in the axial direction toward the front end of the outer tubular member. A pusher member extends into the outer tubular member for axial movement therein and has a first end portion projecting from the rear end of the outer tubular member and a second end portion.

    Abstract: A tape dispenser comprises a body having a dispensing end for dispensing a tape and a size capable of being gripped by a hand of a user. A holding member is disposed in the main body and supports a roll of the tape to permit the roll of tape to undergo displacement in a first direction. A pressing member having a pressing portion at the dispensing end of the main body receives the tape from the roll of tape and presses the tape against a surface for adhering the tape to the surface. A clamping unit applies a clamping force to the tape to releasably clamp the tape at the dispensing end of the main body. A cutting unit is pivotally connected to the holding member and has a blade portion for cutting the tape at the dispensing end of the main body. The blade portion is displaceable between a first position toward the dispensing end of the main body and a second position away from the dispensing end of the main body.
