  • Patent number: 6850138
Abstract: A vibration actuator in which a magnetic circuit device (1,2,3) is elastically suspended to a vibration transmitter (12) by a suspension plate (5)in a predetermined direction, a primary elastic member (6a) is interposed between the suspension plate and the magnetic circuit device in the predetermined direction. A coil (10) is fixed to a vibrating member (9) and disposed in a magnetic gap of the magnetic circuit. It is preferable that the suspension plate has a leaf spring portion extending along a spiral curve between central and peripheral portions thereof.

  • Patent number: 6539097
Abstract: A multi-functional vibration actuator comprises a vibration transmitting portion (8) forming a peripheral portion thereof, a magnetic circuit formed by a yoke (1), a permanent magnet (2), and a plate (3), a vibrator member (5) arranged at a distance from one surface of the magnetic circuit and having an outer periphery fixed to the vibration transmitting portion, a coil (6) arranged in a gap within the magnetic circuit at a distance from the magnetic circuit and fixedly attached to the vibrator member, and a suspension (4) fixed to the vibration transmitting portion and flexibly supporting the magnetic circuit. The distance (b) between the vibrator member and each of the one surface of the magnetic circuit and the suspension is greater than the distance (a) between the other surface of the magnetic circuit and a bottom cover (9) covering the magnetic circuit.

  • Publication number: 20010033215
Abstract: A multi-functional vibration actuator comprises a magnetic circuit flexibly supported by a suspension fixed to the magnetic circuit, a coil arranged at a gap of the magnetic circuit, and a vibration transmitting portion. The coil includes at least two coils. One of the coils is a main coil. Another coil is an auxiliary coil. Even if the coil jumps out of the uniform magnetic flux distribution of a magnetic pole gap during movement, a uniform magnetic flux is always applied of the coil.

  • Publication number: 20010030474
Abstract: In a vibration actuator having a magnetic circuit component (10) and a coil (17) arranged in a gap (14) which is made at one side of the magnetic circuit in a predetermined direction, a space defining member (31, 32, 19) defines an accommodation space (34) to accommodate the magnetic circuit component and the coil. A supporting unit (16,18) supports the magnetic circuit component and the coil so that they are separately movable in the predetermined direction. The space defining member has a sound release hole (33) faced to the other side of the magnetic circuit component in the predetermined direction.
