    Abstract: One end of a cylindrical mount 10 is attached to an end of a cylindrical base 30 that is to be inserted into a socket of a lighting fixture. The end of the mount 10 is rotatable around a central axis of a base 30. A support 40 is attached to other end of the mount 10 so as to rotate integrally with the mount 10. An LED module 51 that includes a plurality of LED chips is attached to the support 40. An end face 43a, on which the LED module 51 is attached, is provided on the support 40. The end face 43a is formed so that the direction of light emitted by the LED chips provided on the LED module 51 is inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the axial direction of the base 30.

    Abstract: A rotary electric machine includes a rotor core, a stator, a field yoke, and a field winding. The rotor core is fixed to a rotary shaft, which includes a magnetic body for forming a magnetic path, and magnetic salient poles. The stator has teeth and a stator winding wound around the teeth by concentrated winding. A slot is formed between adjacent ones of the teeth in a circumferential direction. The field yoke magnetically connects the stator and the magnetic body. The field winding is located in proximity to at least one of the winding ends of the stator winding in an axial direction of the rotary shaft. The field winding generates a magnetic pole on the magnetic salient poles when energized.

    Abstract: There is provided a control apparatus that controls a motor of an electric power steering system to assist a steering effort of an operator. The control apparatus includes a sensor, a parameter computer, a difference computer, a target torque computer, and a motor driver. The parameter computer computes a current value of one of physical parameters of one of constituents of the electric power steering system based on a steering parameter determined by the sensor referring to an equation of motion. The difference computer computes a difference between the current value of the one of the physical parameters computed by the parameter computer and a predetermined value of the one of the physical parameters. The target torque computer computes a target torque of the motor which compensates for the difference between the current value and the predetermined value of the one of the physical parameters.

Afterwards, the bush is treated by a quenching, tempering or isothermal transformation process. Thereby, wear resistance of the pins and the link plates of a silent (link) chain is improved, productivity is improved and associated costs are reduced.

A voltage booting converter converts output voltage of a battery and outputs the voltage between a power source line and a grounding line. Field winding is electrically connected onto an electric current channel between battery and power source line and formed so that voltage switched by a switching element is applied to both ends. A controller controls the field current so as to adjust density of magnetic flux between a rotor and a stator by performing switching control on switching element and a switching element connected in parallel to field winding and converts the output voltage of battery into voltage in accordance with a voltage command value.

The LED module 60 is warped such that the central part protrudes on a heatsink 70 side, which is the side opposite to the light emitting unit 62 side. The LED module 60 is mounted on the heatsink 70 in a state of the surrounds of the light emitting unit 62 being pressed according to pressing units 14T, 14L, and 14D of the socket 10. Pressing the surrounds of the light emitting unit 62 against the heatsink 70 ensures that a central part of the warping of the LED module 60 contacts the heatsink 70.
