  • Publication number: 20160253902
Abstract: A parked vehicle detection device includes a vehicle detector, a host-vehicle position detector, a position calculator, a vehicle information storage, and a parked vehicle determiner. The vehicle detector detects another vehicle included in an image of at least a front of a host vehicle, the image captured by an imaging device mounted on the host vehicle. The host-vehicle position detector detects a position of the host vehicle. The position calculator calculates a position of the detected another vehicle based on the detected position of the host vehicle. The vehicle information storage stores therein information on the another vehicle. The information includes the calculated position. The parked vehicle determiner determines whether the another vehicle is a high possible parked vehicle based on the information on the another vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20130063599
Abstract: A vehicle driving support processing device, including a first data acquisition unit that acquires left rear image data, a second data acquisition unit that acquires right rear image data, and a lane departure detection unit having a lane departure detection state and a lane departure detection inhibition state, wherein the lane departure detection unit in the lane departure detection state estimates a first distance between a left-side boundary and the vehicle based on the left rear image data, estimates a second distance between a right-side boundary and the vehicle based on the right rear image data, and performs a signal generation operation to generate a signal for a warning or for controlling a steering gear or a braking device, and for transmitting a signal to other vehicles.

  • Patent number: 7570280
Abstract: Visual-field information including information on sight-line direction (theta, phi) and on field angle (gamma) in visual-field area of input fish-eye image is input in real-time. From the input visual-field information, a drawing area of a plane is calculated in real-time that is orthogonal to the sight-line direction and has an extent determined by the field angle. A pixel position in the fish-eye image that corresponds to each pixel position in the calculated drawing area is determined. This forms in real-time a dewarped image from the fish-eye image with its distortion removed.

  • Patent number: 7511734
Abstract: A monitoring apparatus for providing the driver with the image of blind-spot areas of a moving body. The monitoring apparatus includes: at least one of fish-eye camera mounted on a moving body, to image fish-eye image around the moving body; a dewarping unit configured to convert at least part of the fish-eye image obtained by the fish-eye camera into a two-dimensional image using a dewarping parameter; a conversion parameter calculation unit configured to calculate a conversion parameter for obtaining a bird's-eye view image from the two-dimensional image, showing an image from a hypothetical position looking down on the moving body; a bird's-eye view image creation unit configured to create a bird's-eye view image by sequentially fetching position data corresponding to each pixel of the bird's-eye view image using the conversion parameter and the dewarping conversion parameter; and a display device to display the bird's-eye view image created by the image creation unit.

  • Patent number: 6342915
Abstract: An image telecommunication system comprises a worker's device and a manager's device. The worker's device collects an image of an object and transmits it to the manager's device placed in a remote place, so that the image is displayed on a display screen of the manager's device. The manager's device transmits a designated position of the image, designated in a state where the image is displayed, to the worker's device. The worker's device indicates a position of the object corresponding to the designated position received from the manager's device. The worker's device detects a point of view of the worker. The manager's device suppresses fluctuation of the image displayed on the display screen, when it is determined that the worker looks at the object substantially continuously.

  • Patent number: 6239833
Abstract: A camera control unit selectively receives an image signal from at least one of a plurality of TV cameras in accordance with an operation signal sent from a monitoring PC over the Internet, compresses the image signal to a digital image, and transmits the compressed digital image to the monitoring PC and a monitor support apparatus over the Internet. The monitoring PC decodes the digital image sent over the Internet, displays the decoded image on a display, and monitors an object to be monitored. The monitor support apparatus successively saves the digital images sent over the Internet, and detects a condition variation of a specific region on the basis of the saved digital images.
