  • Publication number: 20160029289
Abstract: A method and apparatus for supporting communication buffer status reports (BSRs) are disclosed. A wireless device may transmit data to at least one group of wireless transmit/receive units (WTRUs). The wireless device may produce a BSR, which may include an indication associated with a group of WTRUs and an indication of an amount of data that the wireless device has buffered to transmit to the group of WTRUs. The wireless device may transmit the BSR to an eNodeB (eNB). The BSR may include a plurality of indications associated with a respective plurality of groups of WTRUs and respective indications of amounts of data that the wireless device has buffered to transmit each of the plurality of groups. The indication of the amount of data that the wireless device has buffered to transmit to the group of WTRUs may identify a total across all logical channels of the group of WTRUs.

  • Publication number: 20160029239
Abstract: A method and apparatus are described for controlling uplink (UL) transmission power. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a configuration of UL subframe sets and maintain a plurality of transmit power control (TPC) command accumulator values that correspond to respective ones of the UL subframe sets. The WTRU may receive a TPC command in a subframe n of a downlink (DL) transmission, determine a subframe n+k of a UL transmission that the received TPC command corresponds to, determine which of the UL subframe sets the UL transmission subframe n+k belongs to, and adjust a TPC command accumulator value that corresponds to the determined UL subframe set to determine power of the UL transmission when transmitting in the UL transmission subframe, where n is an integer, and k is an integer greater than zero.

  • Publication number: 20160014720
Abstract: A method and apparatus are described for providing multimedia broadcast multicast services (MBMS) service feedback. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive an MBMS service query message over an MBMS control channel and transmit an MBMS service response. The MBMS service query message and MBMS service response message may be radio resource controller messages. The MBMS service query message may include MBMS service identifiers which identify MBMS services that the WTRU is receiving or intending to receive. The WTRU may generate a report with MBMS service identifier index values, where each MBMS service identifier index value indicates a position of a service identifier corresponding to an MBMS service in the original query list that the WTRU is currently receiving or intending to receive. The MBMS service status query message may be received alone or along with a MBSFNAreaConfiguration message. The WTRU may respond within a predetermined or configured time limit.

  • Publication number: 20150327255
Abstract: Embodiments contemplate enabling relay node uplink control information transmission on an interface between a relay node and a donor eNodeB (DeNB) in one or more subframes. Embodiments contemplate techniques to avoid restrictions on uplink transmissions on a cell (perhaps due to subframe configuration), such as on a primary cell, where the restrictions may make relay node uplink control information transmission difficult (if not impossible) on the interface between a relay node and a donor eNodeB (DeNB). Embodiments also contemplate that resources on the interface between the relay node and the donor eNodeB may be scheduled across one or more component carriers or serving cells.

  • Publication number: 20150036645
Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for downlink resource allocation associated with a shared frequency band. A WTRU may receive resource allocation information associated with a component carrier and at least one carrier segment. The component carrier and the least one carrier segment may each comprise a plurality of resource block groups (RBG). At least two bitmaps may be associated with the resource allocation information. A size of a resource block group (RBG) of the component carrier and the at least one carrier segment may be based on a combined number of resource blocks (RB) of the component carrier and the one or more carrier segments divided by a 3GPP Rel-8/Rel-10 RBG size of the component carrier. The WTRU may determine at least one RBG allocated to the WTRU using the resource allocation information and may receive and decode the at least one RBG allocated to the WTRU.
