  • Patent number: 11892524
Abstract: A magnetic field sensor includes a magnetic field sensing element to generate a magnetic field signal indicative of a sensed magnetic field, a modulator to modulate the magnetic field signal at a chopping frequency, a front end amplifier coupled to receive the magnetic field signal and generate an amplified signal, and a demodulator configured to demodulate the amplified signal at the chopping frequency. The sensor further includes a low pass filter to process the amplified signal and generate a low pass filtered signal and a Schmitt trigger circuit. The Schmitt trigger circuit includes a comparator having a first input coupled to receive the low pass filtered signal, a second input coupled to receive a reference signal, and an output at which a comparator output signal is provided. The comparator is configured to perform a plurality of comparisons within a chopping time period that is the inverse of the chopping frequency.

  • Patent number: 10272222
Abstract: This invention relates to a treatment device (10) and method of use, and in particular to a treatment device adapted to assist the clearance of bronchial secretions in persons whose cough function is impaired. The invention provides a treatment device having a pump (12) with a negative pressure inlet side (22) and a positive pressure outlet side (24). The device has a breathing tube (14) for connection to a patient, and a pressure sensor (18) adapted to determine the pressure within the breathing tube. A valve (16) selectively connects the breathing tube to the inlet side or the outlet side of the pump whereby to provide cycles of positive and negative pressure within the breathing tube. A controller (26) is provided to control the valve. An indicator (20) alerts the patient to an operational status of the device so that the patient can breathe in time with the device and in particular can seek to cough at the same time as the pressure within the breathing tube is rapidly reduced.

  • Patent number: 7776174
Abstract: An interior trim component, such as a headliner, includes a decorative covering, a substrate and a piece of a material, such as foam material, placed between the decorative covering and the substrate. After the molding process, the piece of material expands due to its resiliency to form a raised relief in the decorative covering, thereby providing a headliner with an embellished appearance. The method of manufacturing the embossed headliner requires no special tooling and is very cost effective.

  • Patent number: 6393300
Abstract: Apparatus for connecting telephone switch to fixed telephone network or PSTN via a radiotelephone network of GSM type or type derived therefrom. A fixed radiotelephone terminal (RT) has a processor that identifies calls containing an identity belonging to a predetermined set of international mobile subscriber identities (IMSIs), and calls containing an identity belonging to a predetermined set of temporary mobile subscriber identities (TMSIs), both of the sets corresponding to user terminals (UT1, . . . , UT10) which are connected to the switch. The radiotelephone network issues a distinct invoice for each user terminal (UT1, . . . , UT10) even though the same fixed radiotelephone terminal (RT) is used by a plurality of different users, and the radiotelephone network can perform direct inward dialing to each user terminal (UT1, . . . , UT10).

  • Patent number: 6308196
Abstract: In a method of sharing physical resources associated with a server system between the server system and a client system, a respective associated address designating a given location in a program memory and identifying the start of one of a plurality of tasks which access the physical resources is associated with the value assumed by a first parameter contained in a first field of the access request message. Respective values assumed by or associated with second parameters contained in a second field of the access request message with predetermined first locations are written in a data memory. The associated address is loaded into an execution register of the processor circuit in order to initiate the task. The steps of this method are implemented by an interface device and a program required for operation of the interface device is dissociated from each task of the plurality of tasks.
