  • Patent number: 11993178
Abstract: A method for operating a drive system for a work machine is described. A first electric motor is associated with a travel drive of the drive system and a second electric motor is associated with a work drive of the drive system. An electric energy store for operating the first and the second electric motors is associated with the travel drive and the work drive. The method includes operating the first electric motor in generator mode to produce braking power of the travel drive, electric power being produced in the generator mode. The method further includes supplying, completely or partly to the energy store and/or to the second electric motor depending on a state of the energy store, the electric power.

  • Publication number: 20230105135
Abstract: A method for operating an electrified drive train, the drivetrain including a driving coupling of an electric motor to at least one wheel of a working machine, the method including generating an acceleration torque by the electric motor, the acceleration torque leading to an increase in speed of the at least one wheel, generating a braking torque, the braking torque leading to a reduction in speed of the at least one wheel, generating a second acceleration torque by the at least one wheel, the second acceleration torque leading to an increase in a speed of the electric motor, and generating a second braking torque by the at least one wheel, the second braking torque leading to a reduction in the speed of the electric motor, wherein, during a regenerative operation of the electric motor, an unwanted acceleration of the working machine is counteracted by an automated additional braking intervention.

  • Patent number: 11518191
Abstract: A drive axle for a work machine for driving wheels that are coupled to the drive axle. The drive axle includes a spur gear stage with an input shaft. A differential gear unit couples to the spur gear stage and to the wheels via wheel drive shafts. The drive axle further includes a reduction gear unit with an output element couples to the input shaft of the spur gear stage—and an input element which couples to an output shaft of an electric drive machine.
