Abstract: A hand-held firearm with a combination lock with number dials rotatable around an axis is disclosed. The lock only permits movement of the bar triggering a shot if the lock is unlocked. The axis of the lock is positioned transversely to the longitudinal axis of the weapon. The combination of the lock is changeable.

Abstract: Magazine safety units for use in a self-loading firearm with a removable magazine are disclosed. An example safety unit includes a swiveling lever which is held by a spring in the movement path of a bar which is connected with a trigger. The lever engages the bar in an impeding manner. Engagement of the lever with a part of the magazine swivels the lever out of engagement with the bar.

Abstract: A retainer for securing a silencer to a barrel of a handgun is disclosed. The retainer includes a counter-attachment on the barrel of the handgun for attaching the barrel to the retainer, and also includes a forward part for receiving the silencer. A bore extends through the retainer for receiving the counter-attachment, and the inner profile of the bore and the outer profile of the counter-attachment define at least one gas expansion chamber between the counter attachment and the bore when the counter-attachment is disposed in the bore. A lock on the retainer engages a collar on the counter-attachment, thereby releasably securing the counter-attachment in the bore.

Abstract: A firing pin control device for a small arm is disclosed. The small arm includes a hammer, a housing including a fixed part, a slide disposed in the housing, with the slide being moveable between an open position and a closed position, and a firing pin mounted to the slide and being moveable relative to the slide along a linear path between a first position in which contact between the firing pin and the hammer is prevented and a second position in which contact between the firing pin and the hammer is permitted. The firing pin control assembly includes a pair of sleeves mounted in the slide, with the firing pin being slidable relative to the sleeves. A forward one of the sleeves engages the firing pin and is moveable between a forward position in which the firing pin is disposed in the first position and a rearward position in which the firing pin is disposed in the second position. The firing pin control assembly includes a counterspring arranged to bias the forward sleeve toward the forward position.

Abstract: A firing pin safety catch mechanism for use with a firearm is disclosed. The safety catch mechanism includes a one-piece leaf spring comprising a spring arm, a safety catch and a beveled release part. The safety catch has a first position wherein the safety catch engages a catch surface of a firing pin to secure the firing pin in a rest position and a second position wherein the safety catch disengages the catch surface to release the firing pin for movement out of the rest position. The beveled release part is disposed adjacent the proximal end of the spring arm.

Abstract: The invention provides a holder for a rifle for mounting the rifle on a wall, e.g. inside a vehicle, with one front and at least one rear retainer for securing a respective front and rear rifle section--as viewed in the direction of the barrel--, wherein the front retainer at least partially envelops the front gun-stock and/or the barrel of the rifle and wherein the rear retainer receives the rear section of the rifle. In addition, the invention provides a kit for assembling a rifle holder of this type.

Abstract: A firearm conversion system for firearms having a pivoted hammer. The conversion system utilizes a plurality of different mode determinating cams which may be alternately mounted upon a shaft, the shaft also supporting the pivoted hammer. The cams each provide a selection among firing modes including safe, fire, single-action and double-action.

Abstract: A firearm, for example a semiautomatic weapon, in particular an automatic pistol, has control elements for controlling several operation or adjustment functions of the weapon. By means of an easily exchangeable functional element, for example a cam disk, it is possible to determine which operation or adjustment function, among all functions made possible by the weapon control elements, the user can set at his weapon. The functional element and/or a component for holding the functional element is designed and arranged in such a way that it can not only be easily fitted in and removed from the firearm not disassembled or only disassembled into its main parts, but also replaced by another type of functional element.

Abstract: A hand firearm with a casing in which the system is arranged and a valve leading from the inside of the casing to the outside which is so designed that an overpressure in the casing may be vented to the outside, in which a gas-permeable, heat conducting solid medium is arranged in the region of the valve in the flow path of the gas leaving via the valve in order to prevent any danger from hot gases being forced out of the weapon.
