    Abstract: A combination of a plasma spraying process and a vacuum slip casting process is carried out. By combining these two processes, which can each be carried out without difficulty, it is surprisingly possible to achieve good electrolyte layers. Therefore, it is possible to construct a fuel cell system using coated tubes in a bundled arrangement, the tubes being electrically connected in series and operated as a fuel cell generator in power units of between 100 kW and a few MW.
