  • Patent number: 5141107
Abstract: An inflatable garment bag having an annular air-chamber formed by two interior layers. An air pump is secured to the inner, interior layer for inflating the bag. The two interior layers are clamped together at upper portions thereof by means of a pair of clamping blocks, which blocks also mount the hanger element of the bag by which the bag may be hung in a closet, on a rack, and the like. The lower block also mounts a horizontal bar by which garments may be hung in the bag.

  • Patent number: 5129104
Abstract: An apparel belt has a first tapered end-portion that passes through a conventional buckle of the belt. The second end-portion of the belt, which mounts the buckle, is slightly larger in diameter than the first end-portion, which second end-portion defines an open entrance mouth and a hollow interior volume which telescopingly receives therein a section of the first end-portion, depending upon the length of the first end-portion extending through the buckle. The interior volume may also be used for storing valuables therein before inserting the first end-portion therein.

  • Patent number: 4902283
Abstract: A baby-wipe for wiping and cleaning babies. Two inner, water-repellent layers define a hollow interior for the insertion of a hand. Two outer, cotton, absorbing layers are used to wipe a baby clean, with the inner water-repellent layers preventing the user's hand from becoming wet or soiled by waste product. After wiping the baby, the product is everted so that the inner layers now become the outer layers in order to form a disposable waste-product bag that may be thrown away in a garbabe can, whereby the user is never soiled and never directly contacts the waste product.

  • Patent number: 4877277
Abstract: A lever adapter for use with door knobs for aiding arthritic patients in rotating the door knob. The lever adapter is attached to the door knob by a concave, arcuate member having a layer of adhesive. Pulling upon on or pushing down on the lever adapter will cause the simultaneous rotation of the door knob in one direction or the other, whereby linear motion is converted to rotary, in order to obviate the pain and discomfort associated with the turning of a door knob by arthritic persons.

  • Patent number: 4809141
Abstract: An illuminated paper tray having a main housing with a well for storing individual sheets of paper. The rear portion of the housing incorporates electrical circuitry for energizing and de-energizing a light bulb, which light bulb illuminates the well of the housing storing the paper via a separating partition of translucent plastic. The illumination of the light bulb is controlled by the insertion or removal of a pen into a through-hole formed in the rear portion of the housing. When the pen is inserted in the housing, for storage, the light bulb is de-energized, whereas upon removal of the pen from the housing for writing, the light bulb is illuminated.

  • Patent number: 4768138
Abstract: A squeeze-on flashlight in which a pair of batteries is provided in a plastic housing, one of the batteries having an outer metallic covering for selective electrical connection with a pair of elongated flexible finger elements positioned about the one battery. The finger elements extend from a spiral mount formed by a pair of loops which loops threadingly receive the threaded mounting cap of a light bulb mounted at the end of the housing remote from the end housing the one battery. By squeezing the outer plastic housing, the finger elements are urged into contact with the outer metallic cover of the one battery, to thereby close an electric circuit in series with the light bulb.

  • Patent number: 4697344
Abstract: A pill cutter including a base member and a top member that is proportioned to receive therein the base member. The base member has therein a resilient pad which has a number of pill receiving pockets which are divided in half by a knife blade which is embedded within the resilient pad. The top member also contains a resilient pad. When the base and top members are pressed together, the pills in the pockets are pressed against the cutting edge of the cutting blades and are cut in half simultaneously. One end of the top member advantageously has its side walls formed in the shape of a scoop which can be used to dispense the pill halves into a container or the like.
