  • Patent number: 7210276
Abstract: The invention relates to a wooden floor, consisting of a hardenable adhesive (12) which is painted onto a floor base (10) in a continuous layer, and covering elements (16) consisting of wood or a wood material that are joined to the adhesive in its entirety by their surface (14) to be glued. According to the invention, the adhesive layer (12) has a thickness of 0.5 to 5 mm and the combined tension and shear strength of the adhesive (12), in its hardened state, is les than that of the floor base (10) and is at most 1.2 N/mm2, in order to obtain a floor covering with excellent dimensional stability.

  • Patent number: 5678884
Abstract: An air guide device on the rear of a motor vehicle has an airfoil located between side elements. The device includes a spoiler unit located at a distance from the airfoil with an integrated air intake grille in a trunk lid. The spoiler unit is made in one piece with the side elements to hold the airfoil which runs crosswise. Intake openings for supplying engine air are located in each of the side elements.

  • Patent number: 4883308
Abstract: A single seater motor vehicle is disclosed which has freely exposed wheels and a centrally disposed base body bounded on the sides by lateral body section. The base body is tapered so as to have an aerodynamic shape with a widest section as seen from the top adjacent the rear vehicle wheels and a widest section width as seen from the bottom adjacent the front vehicle wheels. The lateral body sections extend from adjacent the vehicle front wheels and include openings for vehicle engine radiators.

  • Patent number: 4569551
Abstract: A panel member is disclosed for an automotive vehicle. The panel member is disposed on the underside of the vehicle in a spaced relation to the roadway and includes a first constricted portion in front of the front wheel, and a second constricted portion behind the rear wheel. The constricted portions provide first and second constricted spaces between the panel member and the roadway. The panel member also includes boundary element portions which are disposed along the longitudinal sides of the panel member, generally between the front and rear wheels of the vehicle. The boundary element portions cooperate with the panel member to form an air duct. The panel member is formed to provide an essentially smooth surface and to cover parts of the chassis such as axles, control arms, or the like.
