  • Patent number: 10124474
Abstract: An impact screwdriver having a housing includes an impact mechanism including a hammer interacting with an anvil for driving a tool, wherein the hammer is arranged on a drive shaft so as to be axially movable and preloaded in the axial direction, and wherein the hammer is driven by the drive shaft via a driver and is preloaded counter to the force of a spring element in order to trip and to transmit a rotary impulse to the anvil when a particular rotation angle is exceed, wherein the hammer and the anvil are mounted in a manner electrically insulated from one another and are connected to a voltage source, and wherein a sensor is provided for monitoring a current flow between the hammer and anvil during contact thereof for determining a contact duration between the hammer and anvil.

  • Patent number: 8844939
Abstract: An adapter for a power tool is disclosed which comprises a drive shaft that can be connected to an output shaft of the power tool in a rotationally fixed manner. There is a receiving connector on the power tool. On the adapter there is provided an assigned sleeve that can be pushed onto the receiving connector, and which comprises a clamping ring, which acts together with locking members in order to effect locking of the sleeve on the receiving connector when in a closed position, the clamping ring being held so as to be movable in the axial direction and being preloaded in the direction of the closed position. The locking members act together with the clamping ring in such a way that locking is effected automatically in the closed position when the adapter is pushed onto the power tool as far as the closed position, and a release of the adapter from the closed position can be effected through an axial movement of the clamping ring against its preload.

  • Publication number: 20080012283
Abstract: A linear drive for a vehicle occupant restraint system, especially for a belt buckle tensioner, comprises a cylinder, a piston that can be moved in the cylinder and that has a locking part that is firmly connected to a traction element, and comprising at least one locking member that is arranged movably between the locking part and the inner wall of the cylinder. The locking part has at least one obliquely disposed clamping surface that is arranged in such a way that, when the traction element makes a pushing movement, the clamping surface clamps the locking member between the locking part and the cylinder.

  • Patent number: 7275586
Abstract: The invention relates to a heating or air-conditioning system for a motor vehicle, by which individual zones of the vehicle interior can be supplied with separately temperature-controlled air. An improved heating or air-conditioning system, which requires just a small amount of installation space, feeds differently temperature-controlled air to a plurality of air-conditioning zones. Despite the small amount of installation space, optimum mixing of cold air and warm air takes place in the heating or air-conditioning system, with the result that the air emerging from air-outlet openings in a respective air-conditioning zone have a constant temperature over the outlet cross section.

  • Patent number: 6581678
Abstract: The invention relates to a heating or air-conditioning system for a motor vehicle, having a heater for generating warm air, at least one cold air duct leading past the heater, and air mixing spaces provided adjacent to the heater. The air duct is divided into sub-ducts for guiding air into the mixing spaces. The mixing spaces are arranged in the direction of flow and are separated from one another by at least one dividing wall. Cold air and warm air are mixed to a specific temperature in the mixing spaces by means of airflow control elements and then fed to an assigned air-conditioned zone via an air duct and air outlet nozzle.
