    Abstract: A surface of an aluminum substrate is anodized. A curable perfluoroelastomer composition is then compression molded and vulcanized onto the anodized aluminum surface. The bonded part may then be post cured in order to improve both the tensile properties of the vulcanized perfluoroelastomer and the bond strength to the surface of the aluminum substrate.
