  • Publication number: 20050097785
Abstract: A working machine having a working part driven by an engine and a transporting part driven by an electric motor. The rotation of the electric motor is controlled by a control part. The speed of the engine as of when the working part is brought to a working state by a work on/off switch being turned on is taken as a reference speed, and a correction coefficient corresponding to this reference speed is taken as an upper limit value. A correction coefficient corresponding to the present speed of the engine is determined. A required acceleration set in correspondence with the size of the actual travel speed of the transporting part is multiplied by the determined correction coefficient to correct this required acceleration. The control part acceleration controls the rotation of the electric motor in accordance with the corrected required acceleration.

  • Publication number: 20050097788
Abstract: A working machine has an engine, a working part driven by motive power from the engine, and a control part for controlling the engine. When operation of the working part has been stopped for a pause in work and the engine is idling, the control part performs control so that the engine automatically stops when a number of conditions are satisfied.

  • Publication number: 20050088122
Abstract: A travel control method for an electric vehicle for individually regulating with left and right brakes the speeds of left and right drive wheels driven by left and right electric motors. Brake buttons are used for the brakes. Left and right brake percentages are determined on the basis of ON times of the brake buttons. Motor control values are obtained on the basis of the brake percentages, and the electric motors are controlled in accordance with the motor control values.

  • Publication number: 20050087373
Abstract: An electric vehicle includes left and right electric motors for separately driving left and right traveling apparatuses, respectively, and a control unit for controlling the left and right electric motors, separately. When operation of the electric vehicle is switched from a turning mode to a straight-traveling mode if one of the electric motors disposed on the same side as a turning direction of the electric vehicle has a speed not exceeding a predetermined minimum reference speed, the control unit abruptly increases a level of an accelerating control signal for a temporary time from the switching of operation to abruptly accelerate the one electric motor, such that the speed of the one electric motor can be made close to that of the opposite electric motor in a shorter time.

  • Publication number: 20050090949
Abstract: A travel control method of an electric vehicle wherein to raise the straight-line driveability of the electric vehicle speed-reduction control is carried out so that the speed of an electric motor rotating at a higher speed is lowered to match the speed of an electric motor at a lower speed. This speed-reduction control is executed when the speed of the motor at the higher speed is above a preset threshold value. The time taken to reach a predetermined threshold value from immediately after starting is short, and the electric vehicle reaches the desired speed rapidly after moving off.

  • Publication number: 20050088123
Abstract: An electric vehicle in which left and right electric motors respectively driving left and right transporting parts are controlled by a control part and particular turning control of the electric motors is carried out when the electric vehicle turns. The electric vehicle has a left and right pair of push-button turn switches. When one of the turn switches is operated, the control part selects a pattern from multiple preset deceleration patterns and decelerates the motor on the inside of the turn, which corresponds to the turn switch being operated, on the basis of this deceleration pattern. The electric vehicle makes turns and returns to straight-line travel optimally and smoothly and can be operated easily by an operator with no skill or experience.
