  • Patent number: 9670927
Abstract: A scroll compressor comprises a housing, a cylindrical rotating shaft, a fixed scroll, a movable scroll, and a drive mechanism. The drive mechanism includes an eccentric pin, and a balancer-integrated bush. The eccentric pin extends in parallel with the rotating shaft from the end part of the rotating shaft. The balancer-integrated bush is disposed between the eccentric pin and the movable scroll, includes an eccentric hole into which the eccentric pin is inserted, and configured to rotate around the eccentric pin, and further includes a balancer in an integrated manner, and is configured to rotatably move relative to the rotating shaft. An elastic member is disposed between the balancer-integrated bush and at least one of the rotating shaft and the eccentric pin, and the elastic member regulates the relatively movable range of the rotating shaft and the balancer-integrated bush.

  • Patent number: 8202071
Abstract: In a motor-driven scroll type compressor, a rotary shaft includes a first opening at a position adjacent to a front end of the rotary shaft and facing an inner surface of a bearing for rotatably supporting the front end of the rotary shaft, a second opening at a position adjacent to a rear end of the rotary shaft and communicating with a back pressure chamber provided in front of a movable scroll member in a housing of the compressor, a communication passage interconnecting the first opening and the second opening, and a throttle formed by a clearance between the first opening and the inner surface of the bearing.

  • Publication number: 20090304539
Abstract: A motor-driven scroll type compressor has a motor that includes a rotary shaft and rotates the rotary shaft, a bearing for rotatably supporting front end of the rotary shaft, a fixed scroll member, a movable scroll member driven by rear end of the rotary shaft, compression chambers defined by the movable scroll member and the fixed scroll member and a housing. The rotation of the rotary shaft makes an orbital motion of the movable scroll member around the axis of the rotary shaft and accordingly the compression chambers are moved radially and inwardly thereby to compress the refrigerant gas. The compressor further has a suction chamber communicating with the compression chambers, a discharge chamber, an oil separation chamber separating lubricating oil from the refrigerant gas and communicating with the discharge chamber and a back pressure chamber provided in front of the movable scroll member in the housing and facing to the rear end of the rotary shaft.

  • Patent number: 7140852
Abstract: A scroll compressor includes a housing, a discharge passage, a rotary shaft, a fixed scroll, a movable scroll, an oil separator and an oil reservoir for compressing refrigerant gas containing lubricating oil. The housing has a rear housing which has a partition wall. The discharge passage is formed in the housing. The discharge passage has a discharge chamber, a discharge hole and an accommodation chamber. The discharge chamber and the accommodation chamber are communicated with each other through the discharge hole. The oil separator is provided in the accommodation chamber. The oil separator has a separation member and an oil reserved area. The oil reservoir is defined around an entire circumference of the partition wall which defines the discharge chamber therein. The oil reservoir is formed so as to communicate with the oil reserved area of the oil separator.
