  • Patent number: 7535896
Abstract: The routing control system 100 according to the present invention comprises a control server 1 as the control system, and routers 10-60 as the transfer system. The control server 1 receives the temporary routing control table which is transmitted from the routers 10-60, and stores this temporary routing control table in the routing control table DB 6 as the routing control table of the router which is the transmission source. This routing control table is updated as needed when a predetermined time has elapsed from the previous update. The control server 1 refers to the data in the routing control table DB 6 constructed in this way, and performs the routing control of packets which pass through each router 10-60 on the network.

  • Publication number: 20070041401
Abstract: A priority control system 10 is comprised of a priority control server 12, a base station 14, and a terminal 16. The priority control server 12 is provided with a priority issue history storage 18, a priority control determiner 20, a scheduler 22, and a priority transmitter 24. The priority control determiner 20 receives a connection request containing a priority from the base station 14 and determines whether a priority is to be issued for the terminal 16, and whether priority control is to be carried out. The scheduler 22 determines a priority control time slot for priority control on the basis of a request from the priority control determiner 20. The priority transmitter 24 transmits the priority. A restriction controller 28 of the base station 14 performs the priority control at a restriction rate lower than usual, based on a request from the priority control determiner 20. This reduces loads on the communication system and decreases the number of call requests.

  • Publication number: 20040141465
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a routing control device and method of generating routing control information whereby the function of connected transfer devices can be more simplified and more efficient, and routing information can be grasped appropriately. A communication system includes a plurality of transfer devices R1-R6 and a routing control device. Each of the transfer devices R1-R6 is physically connected with the routing control device and transmits the topology information (link information and metric information) possessed individually to the routing control device. The routing control device has a routing control information generating unit that generates routing control information collectively based on routing information such as the topology information transmitted from the transfer devices R1-R6. The routing control information generating unit generates a routing control table for all of the transfer devices that transmitted routing information thereto.

  • Publication number: 20040068580
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide routing control system, routing control device, transfer device and routing control method, whereby the function of transfer devices can be more simplified and more efficient, and the transfer routes of packets can be grasped and designated appropriately. The communication system includes a plurality of transfer devices R1-R6 and a routing control device. The routing control device has a routing control table and transmits, as routing control information, information regarding the initial transfer device and cost contained in a corresponding entry of the routing control table, to a transfer device which requests transmission of routing control information. The routing control information is transmitted thereto from the routing control device, thereby each of the transfer devices R1-R6 can execute packet routing processing based on the routing control information.

  • Patent number: 6192039
Abstract: There is provided a method for a flow control to a mobile communication network in which an ATM virtual channel established between a first base station having a radio zone in which a mobile station exists and a terminating ATM node to which a remote station with which the mobile station communicates is connected. The first step of the method is to queue, in an ATM node, incoming cells to be sent to a second base station having a radio zone when the mobile station is handed over to the radio zone of the second base station. The second step of the method is to stop queuing and send the incoming cells queued in the ATM node to the second base station after the mobile station is handed over.

  • Patent number: 5920817
Abstract: A mobile communication scheme realizing highly reliable handover and improved service quality. The communication signals containing identical communication data are transmitted simultaneously from the mobile station to more than one base stations at a time of the handover, such that reception signals are composed from the communication signals received by more than one base stations by using the reliability information for the received communication signals. For the packet communication, the identification information for identifying each packet is attached to each packet, and the reliability information for each packet is measured, such that the reception packets can be obtained according to the identification information attached to each packet and the reliability information measured for each packet.

  • Patent number: 5615210
Abstract: Transmission quality and throughput are improved when communication is carried out using fixed-length packets in wire circuits between radio base stations and a mobile switching center in mobile radio communications systems. Low bit-rate digital information signals are converted to short packets by a plurality of information data assembly/disassembly circuits provided in parallel. A plurality of these short packets are transmitted after being inserted into a long fixed-length packet by means of a fixed-length packet assembly/disassembly circuit, and a plurality of short packets are extracted from the fixed-length packet and then restored to the low bit-rate digital information signals by information data assembly/disassembly circuits. This enables high throughput, economical communication paths to be constructed.
