  • Patent number: 11161417
Abstract: A vehicle includes a body holding device configured to hold the body of a seated driver; a travel control unit configured to drive the vehicle body so that it travels; and a maximum vehicle speed setting unit configured to set a set maximum vehicle speed. The travel control unit controls an output from the driving unit based on the operation amount of an accelerator device if the vehicle speed is lower than the set maximum vehicle speed, and restricts the output from the driving unit irrespective of the operation amount of the accelerator device if the vehicle speed is equal to or higher than the set maximum vehicle speed. The maximum vehicle speed setting unit sets, if it is detected that the body holding device is worn, a first vehicle speed as the set maximum vehicle speed, and sets, if it is detected that the body holding device is not worn, a second vehicle speed lower than the first vehicle speed as the set maximum vehicle speed.

  • Patent number: 10973167
Abstract: A traveling control section of a traveling vehicle is configured to effect a normal operation to control an output of an engine when a vehicle speed is below a set vehicle speed, such that the engine output may correspond to an operation amount of an accelerator operating tool and to effect an output suppressing operation when the vehicle speed is equals to or more than the set vehicle speed, such that the vehicle speed may stay below the set vehicle speed, irrespectively of the operation amount of the accelerator operating tool. A fuel ratio in an air-fuel ratio in the output suppressing operation is set smaller than a fuel ratio in an air-fuel ratio in the normal operation.

  • Patent number: 10767615
Abstract: A multipurpose vehicle includes an engine that has a plurality of cylinders, a traveling vehicle body that has a traveling device that is driven based on a driving force of the engine, a man-operable accelerator operating tool, a controller that controls a fuel injection quantity with respect to the plurality of cylinders of the engine based on an amount of operation of the accelerator operating tool, and a vehicle speed sensor that detects a traveling speed of the traveling vehicle body. If the traveling speed of the traveling vehicle body reaches or exceeds a set maximum traveling speed, the controller suppresses the fuel injection quantity supplied with respect only to one/some of the plurality of cylinders, irrespective of the amount of operation of the accelerator operating tool.
