  • Patent number: 8884191
Abstract: When a seat heater and a planar electric heater on a surface of an interior member are used in parallel, the seat heater and the planar electric heater cannot be heated sufficiently due to a limitation on an electric capacity of a vehicle, and in particular, in a vehicle having good engine efficiency, heating of an interior of a passenger compartment by air conditioning utilizing hot air generated by heat expelled from an engine is not sufficient, whereby there sometimes occurs a situation where occupants feel cold. A heating device 2 is provided in a side door panel 1 of a vehicle and a seat heater is made to be heated mainly at an initial stage of heating after an occupant gets in the vehicle, whereas the heating device 2 is made to be heated after a predetermined period of time elapses, whereby the body of the occupant can be warmed quickly and efficiently without making the occupant feel cold physically.

  • Patent number: 7581584
Abstract: An air conditioning seat device includes an air blower, and a dehumidifier for dehumidifying the air sent from the air blower owing to adsorption, and blows out the dehumidified air to holes provided on a skin of a seat through an air duct. In this makeup, the sweat on the body surface and in the clothes is rapidly vaporized, causing a large amount of vaporization heat loss. Accordingly, the human body feels coolness, and steaminess on the skin is suppressed owing to the sweat vaporization.

  • Publication number: 20090021112
Abstract: As a switch for detecting operation of a door handle, a contact joint switch, a capacitance type sensor, etc., is available, but involves problems of a contact failure caused by secular change and a malfunction caused by rain and is not excellent in a multifunctional property used for other applications. A contact detector of the invention includes support means (8) having a moving part displacing upon reception of contact; a cable-like piezoelectric sensor (4) having a part supported by the support means (8) and becoming deformed in conjunction with displacement of the moving part (8c); and signal processing means for performing signal processing of output of the cable-like piezoelectric sensor (8), wherein the cable-like piezoelectric sensor (8) has a bend part (4a) to form a plurality of simultaneous deformation parts and the simultaneous deformation parts become deformed in conjunction with the moving part (8c), whereby contact is detected.

  • Publication number: 20080061969
Abstract: To provide an intrusion detection device that can be easily mounted, has less influence of rain or snow, has a weather resistance, and can cope with various shapes. In the intrusion detection device of the present invention, pressure sensitive means (14) that is a flexible cable-like piezoelectric sensor is stored in a packet (13) in a sealed state, and mounted on a wall-like structure (11) such as a veranda, a balcony or a fence for the domicile. Since the packet is slidable, the pressure sensitive means is sufficiently deformed when the wall-like structure (11) is pressed, so that the sensor can make the detection reliably.

  • Publication number: 20070193279
Abstract: An air conditioned seat device has a support member, an air blower, a skin configured to form a seating surface, an air layer member, and an air-impermeable sheet member. The support member is provided with a duct for air. The air blower takes in air from the outside and passes the air through the duct. The skin passes air sent from the air blower. The air layer member, provided between the support member and skin, temporarily stores air supplied from the duct to form an air layer. The sheet member covering the air layer member is provided with an air flow-out opening configured to induce air to flow out from the air layer.

  • Publication number: 20070171057
Abstract: While there are contact joining and capacitance type switches for detecting an operation of a door handle, a problem that is to be solved by the invention is to solve problems of contact failure due to aging and a malfunction triggered by rain drops. According to the invention, a piezoelectric sensor (4) has such flexibility as to be annexed to a door handle (3), whereby a minute displacement of the door handle (3) can be detected with high sensitivity. Consequently, a sufficient signal output can be obtained only through a simple touch to the door handle (3), whereby a touch or contact to the door handle (3) can be detected. In addition, since electrodes are not exposed to the outside, the piezoelectric sensor (4) is made difficult to be affected by disturbance, and dust, rain, snow and the like which come to adhere thereto.

  • Patent number: 5525782
Abstract: An oven with a humidity conditioner is capable of cooking food by appropriately humidifying or dehumidifying it while the amount of steam contained in an oven cavity is being regulated. The oven includes a heater or magnetron for heating the food accommodated in the oven cavity, a humidity regulator for regulating the humidity inside the oven cavity, a cooking method selector for selecting a cooking method, and a controller for controlling the humidity regulator in response to a signal from the cooking method selector to selectively humidify and dehumidify the interior of the oven cavity.
