  • Patent number: 11977220
Abstract: A digital micromirror device comprises an array of micromirror pixels, the array comprising a first micromirror pixel and a second micromirror pixel. The first micromirror pixel comprises a hinge, where the hinge is configured to tilt toward a first raised address electrode and toward a second raised address electrode. The first micromirror pixel also comprises a first micromirror coupled to the hinge, where the first micromirror has a sculpted edge. The second micromirror pixel comprises a second micromirror, where a first gap between a first point on the sculpted edge and a nearest point to the first point on the second micromirror is larger than a second gap between a second point on the sculpted edge and a nearest point to the second point on the second micromirror.

  • Patent number: 11606253
Abstract: A method of using a proxy network to normalize online connections uses a global proxy network (GPN) to manage connections between a plurality of local proxy clients and a destination server. First, an optimization process is executed for the overall network connection between each local proxy client and the destination server. The latency of each optimized connection are then examined to determine a normalization point, which corresponds to the highest latency among the optimized connections. The rest of the connections are then adjusted to conform to the normalization point by adding latency to the connections to match the latency of the normalization point.

  • Publication number: 20230061988
Abstract: A ball coupling device includes a socket assembly, configured to assume an operative condition in which it defines a socket to capture a tow ball such that there is formed a sliding fit, permitting relative rotation, between the tow ball and socket or assembly and to assume an inoperative condition whereby the tow ball and assembly can be decoupled. The assembly being configured to define in the operative condition an opening, disposed about a neck via which the tow ball is supported, having a width, parallel to a rotational axis extending centrally through the tow ball and perpendicular to a central axis of the tow ball that extends top-to-bottom therethrough, sufficient that the neck passes through the opening, and a length sufficient to permit relative displacement between the neck and assembly and thus relative rotation between the tow ball and the assembly or device about the rotational axis.

  • Patent number: 11050669
Abstract: A method and system for optimizing internet traffic from a Local Area Network (LAN) to an internet based server utilizes a specific gamer private network (GPN) for the classified latency sensitive internet data. The method includes the steps of creating a gateway computer or a master-slaver computer (device) system within a local area network (LAN), and making this gateway computer control the internet data from any device within the LAN to an outside internet based server. The gateway computer sorts the internet data into various categories, including latency sensitive, bandwidth sensitive and exclusion that is neither latency sensitive nor bandwidth sensitive. Based on these classification results, the internet data within various categories are sent out via the respective routes, so as to achieve a smooth and efficient internet data transmission.

  • Patent number: 10525343
Abstract: A method of using cloud infrastructure and virtualization for bandwidth-efficient remote video streaming of software application operation allows end users to stream their interaction with a software application on their computer, video gaming software applications in particular, to viewers while requiring minimal bandwidth to do so. User input and relevant application data is sent from the client computer to a remote server, which uses a thin client to mirror the software and produce a rendered video from the received data. The remote server then sends the rendered application video to viewers.

  • Patent number: 9775307
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments of the invention include methods and systems for upgrading an existing irrigation system to increase its sensing and control capability without requiring extensive rewiring. A controller module is installed between an irrigation controller and a zone valve and physically proximate to the irrigation controller without disturbing most of the existing wiring between the irrigation controller and the zone valve. A field module is installed between the controller module and the zone valve without disturbing most of the existing wiring between the irrigation controller and the zone valve. The controller module and field module are the communicatively coupled primarily using the existing wiring. The controller module may encode commands transmitted to the field module and/or decode encoded data transmitted from the field module. The field module may encode data transmitted to the controller module and/or decode encoded commands transmitted from the controller module.

  • Patent number: 9729504
Abstract: A method of near real-time global geographical IP address automated lookup utilizes an automated system continually performing a plurality of IP address location discovery techniques including traceroute automation, global server triangulation other geo IP discovery techniques and rolling cross checks across the system to build and maintain a global geo IP database with known geo locations of IP addresses. The geo IP database may be utilized to request the geo location of a specific IP address, and if the geo location of the specific IP address is unknown the system attempts to acquire the geo location of the specific IP address using the IP address location discovery techniques.
