A stator-clamping device presses the housing segments radially against the stator and thereby presses the stator against the rotor. It has one or more movable adjusting elements that bear radially inward on the housing segments for radially adjusting and clamping the stator and one or more actuators connected or provided with the adjusting elements for automatically positioning the housing segments.
