  • Publication number: 20160222627
Abstract: It is disclosed a powered pivot assembly for rotatably coupling an implement, e.g a plow blade, to an end of a frame assembly adapted to be driven by a vehicle. The powered pivot assembly is drivingly engaged with the frame assembly to rotate the implement about a generally vertical axis. The pivot assembly comprises an electric motor for causing rotation of the implement. It is also disclosed a pivotal plow system comprising a frame assembly having a first end adapted to be mounted to a vehicle; and an implement being coupled to a second end of the frame assembly and rotatable relative thereto about a generally vertical axis. The plow assembly comprises a pivot assembly drivingly engaged with the frame assembly and operable to rotate said plow assembly and blade. • Patent number: 9347199
Abstract: A frame for supporting an implement (e.g. a plow) on a vehicle is disclosed. The support frame extends longitudinally and generally comprises, at its rear end, a rear attachment mechanism for removably mounting the support frame to the underside of the vehicle, and at its front end, a front attachment assembly for supporting the implement. The frame comprises a rear section and a front section hingedly connected together such that the front section can pivot upwardly with respect to the rear section. The support frame also comprises a biasing assembly or mechanism, generally comprising a resilient member engaging the front and rear sections, such as to downwardly bias the front portion. By overcoming the downward bias of the biasing assembly, the front section can be further raised with respect to the ground surface, thereby providing greater clearance.

  • Publication number: 20080279993
Abstract: The security stick is made with an extended curve of 90°. At one of the extremities is the candy and the continuity of the stick curves in a 90° extended direction. It is this curve which makes it safe if contact occurs. The <90° extended> turns gradually in the new direction and creates a curve which will render the new lollypop completely safe for the user. The length of the stick doesn't alter its safety, when the stick is curved in a 90° extended angle, it becomes the security stick.

  • Publication number: 20080120869
Abstract: A footwear cover having water absorbent characteristics and non slip, longwear soles comprises a footwear cover for covering footwear symmetric so as not to have a left or a right side. The footwear cover has a covering surface made of soft, pliable, washable, and resilient material. A non slip sole is attached to the underside of the covering surface. An elastic band around a point of entry of a user's footwear tightens at the user's ankle when the footwear is put in. An absorbent padding material, located inside of the footwear cover, is made of a material known to have excellent liquid or moisture absorption characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20070028967
Abstract: The protection system protects a fire hydrant. The protection system includes a nozzle, a protection device, and a bracket assembly. The nozzle defines a bore, is in fluid communication with an interior of the fire hydrant, and is adaptable to receive a fire hose. The protection device is carried by the bore of the nozzle for prohibiting access into the interior of the fire hydrant from the exterior. The protection device includes a first position for preventing access into the fire hydrant from the exterior, and a second position wherein water can flow from inside the fire hydrant externally via the nozzle. The bracket assembly is coupled to the protection device for rotating the protection device and carried by the nozzle, wherein the bracket assembly has sufficient rotational travel for enabling the protection device to move from the first position to the second position, depending on the water pressure.
