Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for facilitating electronic commerce in an augmented reality environment. In some embodiments, a method comprises detecting, by a mobile device, presence of the physical product or the real life service; and presenting, on the mobile device, information to conduct the transaction of a physical product or a real life service via the augmented reality environment. In some embodiments, a method comprises detecting one or more targets in the augmented reality platform using a select area in a perspective of a user, the perspective being captured by a mobile device; and prompting the user to choose an object of interest from the one or more detected targets. Among other advantages, embodiments disclosed herein provide an intuitive and integrated user experience in shopping using augmented reality devices, thereby reducing the consumer user's effort in conducting such activities, reducing necessary sales personnel and their working hours, and increasing sales.

Abstract: A system and a method for microcontent natural language processing are presented. The method comprising steps of receiving a microcontent message from a social networking server, tokenizing the microcontent message into one or more text tokens, detecting the language of the microcontent message and selecting the property dictionary for part-of-speech tag, part-of-speech tagging the microcontent message to identify related pronouns and nouns based on the selected dictionary, and extracting topics form the microcontent messages and assigning confidence values to the topics.

Abstract: Systems and methods of simulated objects and applications thereof are disclosed here. In one aspect, embodiments of the present disclosure include a method, which may be implemented on a system, of simulating a virtual sports game played by a real participant in a real world environment. One embodiment includes generating a simulated playing field that represents a physical location in the real world environment and is provided for access via a device. The simulated playing field can include characteristics that correspond to physical characteristics of the physical location where the real participant is located. One embodiment further includes, identifying a user requested action to be performed on a simulated object in the simulated playing field by detecting user interaction with the device.
