Abstract: This application discloses configurations for arranging transducer arrays on a person's head to impose tumor treating fields (TTFields) in the brain at field strengths that are as uniform as possible throughout the entire brain. In some embodiments, L-shaped sets of electrodes are positioned near the right and left ears, each with a horizontal arm above the ear and a vertical arm behind the ear. Optionally, these embodiments may be combined with a second pair of electrodes positioned on top of the head and behind the neck. In other embodiments, one pair of electrodes is positioned above the right ear and on the left/rear portion of the neck; and a second pair of electrodes is positioned above the left ear and on the right/rear portion of the neck. • Publication number: 20240079138
Abstract: Systems and methods relate to predicting disease progression by processing digital pathology images using neural networks. A digital pathology image that depicts a specimen stained with one or more stains is accessed. The specimen may have been collected from a subject. A set of patches are defined for the digital pathology image. Each patch of the set of patches depicts a portion of the digital pathology image. For each patch of the set of patches and using an attention-score neural network, an attention score is generated. The attention-score neural network may have been trained using a loss function that penalized attention-score variability across patches in training digital pathology images labeled to indicate no or low subsequent disease progression. Using a result-prediction neural network and the attention scores, a result is generated that represents a prediction of whether or an extent to which a disease of the subject will progress.

  • Publication number: 20240064052
Abstract: An orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transmitter maps a digital level into I and Q components. The transmitter uses every other digital level as an I or Q component or divides the MSBs and LSBs of a digital level into the I and Q components. An analog OFDM transmitter uses a pair of input analog levels as the I and Q components. An inverse FFT outputs a complex value and OFDM symbols are transmitted. An inverse FFT may also output a real value using complex conjugates. An optional encoder encodes digital or analog samples into L levels using N orthogonal codes before input into the OFDM transmitter. OFDM receivers receive the OFDM signal and output digital or analog samples. Video signals are input into a distributor that distributes analog or digital samples into vectors, each vector input into an OFDM transmitter that transmits to a corresponding receiver.
