    Abstract: A vacuum-cleaner pipe assembly can have inner and outer pipes telescopingly engaged with one another and on a sleeve surrounding the inner pipe, a locking body which engages in selected detents formed on the inner pipe. A rocker or rotatable eccentric in a housing on the sleeve surrounding the inner pipe bears directly against the locking body and is biased by a spring into the locking position.
