  • Patent number: 9387114
Abstract: A splint for immobilizing a joint including at least one flat body that has two contact surfaces for limbs adjoining the joint to be immobilized and a supporting member in an outer contour having an angular structure for adjusting and bracing an angle between the contact surfaces for the limbs, wherein at least two surfaces are non-displaceably joined together to create a double-walled structure, and wherein a joint axis of the joint to be immobilized forms an angle of less than 60° with a normal of the non-displaceably joined surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20130053738
    Abstract: The invention relates to a splint (1, 31, 51, 61, 71) for immobilising a joint, which is to be worn at the joint to be immobilised, wherein the splint (1, 31, 51, 61, 71) comprises at least one flat body (2, 32, 52, 52?, 62, 72) that has at least two contact surfaces (3, 4, 33, 34, 53, 54, 63, 64, 73, 74) for limbs adjoining the joint to be immobilised. A supporting member (6, 36, 36?, 36?, 36??, 56, 56?, 68, 78) is provided, which in an outer contour (7, 37, 57, 57?, 68?, 68?, 79) has an angular structure (8, 8?, 38, 38?) for adjusting and bracing an angle between the contact surfaces (3, 4, 33, 34, 53, 54, 63, 64, 73, 74) for the limbs. According to the invention at least two surfaces (13, 13?, 17, 17?; 39, 39?, 39?) arranged in the assembled state of the splint (1, 31, 51, 61, 71) on the faces of the contact surfaces (3, 4, 33, 34, 53, 54, 63, 64, 73, 74) remote from the limbs are provided.

  • Patent number: 7173161
Abstract: Bandage 100 for relief of the musculature, comprising an essentially rectangular central portion 1 on whose transverse edges 11, 12 a total of four tensioning straps 21, 22, 23, 24 are secured, the central portion 1 being smoothed on opposite the injured site in the muscle tissue of the limb, the two proximal tensioning straps 21, 22 being guided in a diagonal movement in the distal direction and the two distal tensioning straps 23, 24 being guided in a diagonal movement in the proximal direction in such a way that the two proximal tensioning straps 21, 22 cross each other proximally of the injured site, the two distal tensioning straps 23, 24 cross each other distally of the injured site, and in each case one proximal tensioner 21, 22 and one distal tensioner 23, 24 cross each other laterally of the injured site, so that the injured site is left free, with the ends 31, 32, 33, 34 of the tensioning straps 21, 22, 23, 24 being secured on the bandage 100.
