  • Patent number: 6350263
Abstract: An ablation arrangement (1) for the targeted production of local lesions in living tissue inside the body, particularly inside the heart, comprising at least one energy source (15), a plurality of energy uncoupling elements (11b to 11g) that are attached to a holding element (11a), a plurality of energy transmission lines (19.1) that connect the energy source or the energy sources to the energy uncoupling elements and switching elements (9.3) that are assigned to the energy transmission lines for setting up or interrupting a connection between the energy source and respectively one energy uncoupling element, with program control means (9.1) for a time-sequential actuation of at least some of the switching elements according to an ablation program.

  • Patent number: 5640086
Abstract: The tachometer includes a microphone for disposition next to the exhaust of the vehicle and an accelerometer for disposition adjacent to its engine. A selected one of the outputs is connected to an ADC which provides digital samples to a central processing unit. Also, the ripple from the battery is sampled and provided to the CPU. The CPU calculates a constant representing the relationship of the frequencies of the ripple samples and the mechanical samples and responds to the ripple samples and the constant to provide output signals corresponding to the speed of the engine. The speed is displayed.

Date of Patent: June 17, 1997
    Assignee: Sun Electric Deutschland GmbH
    Inventors: Wolfgang Rentsch, Olaf Pohl
