  • Patent number: 9065185
Abstract: A connector for connecting a coaxial cable to a components box is disclosed, the connector is adapted to receive a central conductor of the coaxial cable and to firmly connect it to a central pin in the connector using a seizing force of a springy element, without needing to use a fastening screw or the like and without needing to open the component box. The connector of the invention is further adapted to allow releasing the central conductor from the central pin without needing to unfasten a screw or opening the component box. The connector is further adapted to facilitate the connection of the coaxial cable to the connector in another orientation similarly, without needing to use a fastening screw or the like and without needing to open the component box.

  • Patent number: 8912863
Abstract: A face plate for cable-TV networks, the face plate adapted to operate in frequencies as high as 1.8 GHz. The face plate comprising terminals, electronic circuitry, impedance matching units and a disturbances suppressor. The disturbances suppressor is designed to suppress the parasitic resonance of the transmission line that appears inside the extended operational frequency band of 1000 to 1800 MHz. The impedance matching units are adapted to match the impedance of the terminal with that of electronic circuitry.

  • Patent number: 8149070
Abstract: A wideband power coupler and method for taping part of a RF signal from a combined RF and AC signal with relatively simple structure and relatively low number of needed parts. The power coupler may include a BALUN, the BALUN constructed of a central conductor, an outer conductor and a ferrite element. Combined downstream AC and RF signal may flow through the central conductor of the BALUN. A part of the RF signal is reflected on the outer conductor of the BALUN with 180 degrees phase shift with respect to the RF signal, to create a reversed signal. Another part of the RF signal is sampled by a high pass filter. An autotransformer sums the reversed signal with the RF signal to create an output RF signal for an output tap port.

  • Publication number: 20070061861
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a method, device and system of discriminately handling a wideband transmission including a legacy frequency signal of a legacy frequency band and an extended frequency signal of an extended frequency band. In some demonstrative embodiments a signal discrimination device includes a signal adjustment module to generate an adjusted signal corresponding to the legacy frequency signal; a first multiplexer to selectively route the legacy frequency signal from a first terminal of the signal discrimination device to the signal adjustment module; and a second multiplexer to selectively route the adjusted signal to a second terminal of the signal discrimination device, wherein the first multiplexer is able to selectively route an extended frequency signal of the extended frequency band from the first terminal to the second multiplexer, and wherein the second multiplexer is able to selectively route the extended signal to the second terminal.
