  • Patent number: 9053599
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for adjusting an installation position of modules in a self-service device that has a first module, a second module and a transfer module with a transfer slot for transferring notes of pecuniary value from the first module to the second module or vice versa. The transfer module is held in an operating position by a fastening device and forms a spacing to the second module. An adjusting mechanism is associated with the transfer module so that the transfer module, by forming different spacing to the second module, is mounted so as to be adjustable in an adjusting direction that extends perpendicularly with respect to the transfer slot and in a transfer plane of the notes of pecuniary value which is predefined by the transfer slot.

  • Patent number: 8915427
Abstract: A method for controlling a cycle of notes of value, wherein by a security transport company a cash box is removed from and/or inserted into a device for handling notes of value. The removal and/or the supplying of the cash box are detected by means of a sensor. After removal of a cash box from the device the total value of all notes of value received in the cash box is read out from the memory region of a memory element and is subtracted from a value stored in an account memory element assigned to the security transport company. After insertion of a cash box the total value is added to the value of the account memory element.

  • Patent number: 8875993
Abstract: An apparatus for storing a bill transport container. The apparatus includes a holding compartment for holding the bill transport container. The bill transport container includes a cancellation unit for invalidating bills that are held and a control unit having a timer that triggers the cancellation unit after a preset time interval. A control unit of the apparatus and the control unit of the bill transport container can have a data transmission link set up between them when the bill transport container is held in the holding compartment. This link can be used to transmit data for setting the timer of the control unit. A bill transport container is included in which in a first mode of operation the control unit triggers the cancellation unit after a first preset time interval and in a second mode of operation it triggers the cancellation unit after a second preset time interval.
