  • Publication number: 20100102069
Abstract: The invention relates to a viewing apparatus having a housing having a front wall and a rear wall. The front wall has at least one viewing opening for viewing a flat object situated on an object carrier inside the housing. The front and rear walls are connected to one another along two opposite connecting lines and have bending lines such that the housing can be set up from a rest position, in which the front and rear walls lie flat against one another, into a viewing position in which the front and rear walls are arranged so that they can be spaced apart from one another. The resulting that the housing has a box-shaped design with a forward wall, a rearward wall and two side walls, and wherein the object carrier is firmly connected, only at its first end, to the front wall or the rear wall and has a width which is greater than the width of the forward wall but smaller than the width of the front wall.

  • Publication number: 20090207112
Abstract: The invention relates to a viewing device having viewing openings for viewing a flat object present on an object support in the interior of the housing. The invention provides a viewing device which is as flat as possible in its rest position and which can be changed to a viewing position in a simple and reproducible manner and with little effort. The housing is erected using a lever-type cover element which at least partially covers the front in the rest position of the viewing device and which can be swiveled outward in order to erect the housing.

  • Publication number: 20090154143
Abstract: A head band for diagnostic instruments comprising a light source and a battery has, at its back support part (12), a flat housing (21) for adjusting and fixing the head band length by means of a rotary knob (22). An accumulator module (31) optimized with regard to volume, weight and weight distribution can be mounted and detached by means of bayonet-type grooves (25) at the housing (21) and pins (33) at the accumulator module (31), and can be fixed by means of a resilient spring (26) at the housing (21) and a recess (34) in the accumulator module (31) without impairing the function of the rotary knob (22).

  • Patent number: 7507927
Abstract: A battery grip for diagnostic units comprises a grip sleeve for accommodating batteries, at the upper end of which a metal sleeve for accommodating a consumer load, such as an electric bulb, is mounted, a guide opening formed in the wall of the grip sleeve, a switching slide being guided the guide opening in a longitudinal direction of the grip sleeve, a contact member extending from a lower end of the grip sleeve with one contact end into the guide opening, and a contact spring member having one end conductively connected to the metal sleeve manner and another free end extending into the guide opening such that the free end is disposed above the contact member and is brought into contact with the contact member by displacing the switching slide. The contact between free end of the contact spring member and the contact member is created by at least two contact points. At least one longitudinal recess is provided in the contact end of the contact member.

  • Publication number: 20080313942
Abstract: The invention relates to a viewer having a housing which has a front wall and a rear wall, wherein the front wall has at least one viewing opening for viewing an image which is depicted on an image carrier inside the housing. In order to make it possible to optimally depict the image motifs on the image carrier in a simple manner, the invention proposed providing at least one drive device, which acts on the image carrier, in the housing such that the position of the image carrier with respect to the viewing opening can be changed from a first end position to a second end position and vice versa.
