  • Patent number: 9008900
Abstract: In a method for determining a height of lift of a working machine, a measurement of height is carried out between a position along an approximately vertical axis of motion of a lifting element of the working machine and a reference point. In order to implement a correct determination of the height of lift even in response to inhomogeneous ground conditions, the ground on which the working machine is located is used as the reference point, and for the height measurement a plurality of measuring signals are ascertained, which are supplied to a mean value formation, the mean value being drawn upon for determining the height of lift.

  • Publication number: 20130205610
Abstract: In a method for determining a lift height of a work machine, a height measurement is carried out between a position along an approximately vertical movement axis of a lift element of the work machine to a reference point. In order to output a correct lift height constantly despite tire wear occurring on the wheel of the work machine, the reference point is formed by the floor.

  • Patent number: 6776134
Abstract: A method is described for monitoring the temporary cut-off function of the gas exchange valves of individual cylinders or cylinder groups in internal combustion engines, in which the gas exchange valves of the cylinders to be temporarily cut off are deactivated in the closed state for the duration of the cutoff. Two signals, which supply a measure for the air mass flowing into the internal combustion engine, are compared for monitoring purposes. A disproportion between both signals is interpreted as a fault in the described chain of action.

  • Patent number: 6666194
Abstract: A method and a device for controlling a mechanical supercharger of a combustion engine, coupling a mechanical supercharger to the internal combustion engine during the starting phase, even before the appearance of the first fuel injections into the combustion engine.
