  • Patent number: 11855843
Abstract: A system and method for monitoring configuration status of a plurality of network components of a network. The method comprises generating, based on a network object model, a first configuration file indicative of expected configuration status of the plurality of network components, the network model comprising Node objects, Interface objects, evpnEdge objects and Layer objects. The method further comprises receiving a second configuration file indicative of current configuration status of the plurality of network components, the first and second configuration files comprising tagged sections and sub-sections, and comparing the first and second configuration files comprising comparing a first sub-section of the first configuration file with a corresponding second sub-section of the second configuration file based on tags of the first and second sub-sections, the first and second sub-sections comprising configuration commands relative to one of the plurality of network components.

  • Publication number: 20230095540
Abstract: A method and system of monitoring BGP-eVpn messages sent over a Mesh between a Point of Presence, POP, and a datacenter managed by an infrastructure provider in an Infrastructure provider network, including (i) receiving a BGP-eVpn message, at a Deployed network monitor connected to the Mesh, (ii) parsing by the Deployed network monitor the received BGP-eVpn message into Destination-type fields; and (iii) updating by the Deployed network monitor a Database representative of a per-tenant historical view of BGP-eVpn updates for a network deployed by or for a customer of the infrastructure provider in the Infrastructure provider network, based on a correlation between one or more of the parsed Destination-type fields and existing values in the Database entries.

  • Patent number: 11296931
Abstract: A method is devised of deploying a network configuration in a datacenter. The network configuration includes one of more points of interconnection, a point of presence of the datacenter being one of the one or more points of interconnection. Each of the one or more points of interconnection in the network configuration is modeled through objects comprising, for each given point of interconnection, a node object representing the point of interconnection, an interface object hierarchically inferior to the node object and representing a connection to the point of interconnection, an evpnEdge object representing the transport to/from of the point of interconnection in the network, and a layer object hierarchically inferior to the evpnEdge object, and representing the characteristics of the protocol of transport to/from the point of interconnection. The network configuration is set up by a succession of commands on the objects and then pushed to the datacenter.
