  • Publication number: 20230133449
Abstract: The present invention concerns the field of microreaction devices and of micro-process engineering. It particularly involves devices having micro-channels (internal chambers of micrometric to submicrometric dimensions) for conveying chemical or biochemical mixtures and/or reactions. More specifically, such devices are optimized to achieve high temperature and pressure stresses (i.e. 500° C. and 500 bar). For observation and analysis purposes, the microreaction devices have a wide range of transparency in terms of wavelengths. The subject matter of the present invention relates to a microfluid or microreactor device made of transparent sapphire, preferably in the wavelength range of 150 to 6500 nm, its manufacturing method and to its use.

  • Publication number: 20220414328
Abstract: There is provided a method and a system for recommending a given text candidate as a value for a field. A document image is received and a set of text boxes are detected using optical character recognition, each of the set of text boxes comprising a respective character sequence. For each text box, based on at least the respective character sequence, at least one respective text candidate is generated to thereby obtain a set of text candidates. At least one feature extractor is used to generate a respective candidate feature vector based on each respective text candidate. An indication of the field is received, and a respective candidate score indicative of a relevance of the respective text candidate is determined. In response to a given candidate score being above a threshold, the given text candidate associated with the given candidate score is output as a recommendation for the field.

  • Patent number: 11481605
Abstract: There is provided a 2D document extractor for extracting entities from a structured document, the 2D document extractor includes a first convolutional neural network (CNN), a second CNN, and a third recurrent neural network (RNN). A plurality of text sequences and structural elements indicative of location of the text sequences in the document are received. The first CNN encodes the text sequences and structural elements to obtain a 3D encoded image indicative of semantic characteristics of the text sequences and having the structure of the document. The second CNN compresses the 3D encoded image to obtain a feature vector, the feature vector being indicative of a combination of spatial characteristics and semantic characteristics of the 3D encoded image. The third RNN decodes the feature vector to extract the text entities, a given text entity being associated with a text sequence.

  • Patent number: 10282398
Abstract: Embodiments presented herein provide an editing tool for domain-specific machine-readable objects. The editing tool identifies a domain-specific machine-readable object selected for editing. The object corresponds to a page included in a sequence of pages and is configured to adjust content for the page based on variables. One or more previous pages in the sequence are configured to solicit input to define the variables. The editing tool also identifies a scenario selected for previewing the page. The scenario includes values for the variables. Assets of the object reference the variables in expressions or other logic. The editing tool renders the object based on the scenario.

  • Patent number: 9317477
Abstract: A computer program product corrects a detonation time from a ballistic table, based on the actual velocity of a projectile measured upon exit of the projectile from the gun tube. The computer program product transfers a 16-bit data stream, through a 16-bit to an 8-bit encoder, to a fuze controller implemented as an 8-bit platform, to provide precise timing adjustment to a fuze controller. The computer program product significantly improves the accuracy of detonation times for air burst mode. The encoder calculates the absolute truncated, square rooted, X, of the input time delay number, as well as the error correction number, Y. The encoder then transmits both numbers X and Y as an 8-bit data stream, optionally along with the parity data to the fuze controller.
