  • Patent number: 5777600
Abstract: The invention concerns a process for coding the colors of characters in a video system, which includes a character generator making use of character models comprising at least two zones, and wherein a single color attribute whose level is higher than page level is used to determine the color of all the zones of all the characters corresponding to this level, the luminance values chosen for each of the character zones being such that, for a given character, these zones can be visually distinguished when they are of the same color.

  • Patent number: 5602600
Abstract: A device for displaying characters in a video system, the characters being able to be displayed transparently against a background consisting of the normal television image. The device inserts the text into the original video signal, then forms the weighted average of the signal including the text and the original video signal.

  • Patent number: 5027006
Abstract: A circuit detecting the drop of a supply voltage applied between a high voltage supply terminal and a low voltage supply terminal for an integrated circuit. A trheshold circuit includes an input terminal connected to the high voltage supply terminal, an output terminal supplying a desired signal and threshold supply terminals. A MOS capacitor is connected between the low voltage supply terminal and an N-channel MOS transistor. The drain and gate of the transistor are connected together and to the high voltage supply terminal. The threshold supply terminals are connected across the capacitor.
