  • Patent number: 8388574
Abstract: A system comprising a catheter having an expandable element, which when expanded, has an annular shape surrounding a passageway. The expandable element in the expanded state is rollable along at least a portion of the shaft of the catheter without slipping. The system may be used for delivering an object to a site in the body, retrieving an object from a body, removing debris and/or other particulate matter from a blood vessel, and distending and/or expanding a pathologically-involved region of a blood vessel wall.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 10, 2010
Date of Patent: March 5, 2013
    Assignee: Angioslide Ltd.

  • Patent number: 5494252
Abstract: A device for effecting relative motion of movable components of a product within a closed sales display package translates a force exerted in one direction so that the force is applied in a second direction through buckling of a motion spring. The motion spring is two-dimensional, i.e., flat, and is oriented so that its flat surfaces face the direction of motion and so that its top and bottom edges are secured to opposite sides of a sales package. Pressure that is exerted vertically on the top and bottom edges of the spring causes the spring to buckle about a horizontal axis, thereby deflecting the flat surface of the spring in a horizontal direction that is perpendicular to both the vertical direction of force and the horizontal buckling axis. The motion spring is secured at its top and bottom vertical edges to the front and back, respectively, of the sales package. When the spring is to be used in conjunction with the rotatable toothbrush of U.S. Pat. Nos.

  • Patent number: 5152223
Abstract: An automatic self-inking, rubber-stamp device comprising a housing, ink pad, stamp plate and spring-loaded actuator. The device incorporates a guide pin integrally formed on the stamp plate and a cam formed on the housing wall which when the actuator is pressed down all act in coordination to turn the stamp plate over, from its resting position against the ink pad, to be pressed against the subject document. The device is further characterized by use of fewer components than in other products of the art, by its simplicity of construction and by its snap-together assembly thereby making it particularly suitable for automated and robotic assembly processes.
