    Abstract: The boot comprises an upper (8) hinged on a shell (1). A device enables the upper to be locked and its inclination to be adjusted in the locked position. This device comprises a cam (10) cooperating with a stop (24) integral with the shell (1). This cam can be actuated by means of a button (15) and it may be retracted by means of a cam lever (18) against the action of a spring (23) so as to release the upper (8).

    Abstract: The buckle comprises a tensioning lever (2) on which there is hinged an attachment element (14) to which there is fixed a pulling rod (13) having a threaded part passing through the attachment element (14) and retained on the latter by a button (22) screwed onto the end of the pulling rod (13). By rotating the button it is possible to adjust the active length of the pulling rod. The pin (b 30) for hinging the attachment element (14) serves at the same time as a means for locking the rod (13).
