  • Patent number: 8763005
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to application-service provision by application-service-provider centers to remote application-service consumers, including small businesses, medium-sized businesses, and other similarly-sized institutions and organizations, as well as to users of individual computers, such as home computers. Rather than executing applications at an application-service-provider center, the applications are instead distributed to remote client sites for execution by virtual machines controlled and managed by an application-service-provider center. Execution of the applications by virtual machines at remote client sites alleviates constraints and bottlenecks associated with communications between client computers and remotely executing applications, while providing management capabilities and security that allow the application-service center to manage application execution as if the remotely executing applications were executing within the application-service center.

  • Patent number: 8510652
Abstract: A process of producing personalized applications for a web interaction process in which interface pages are presented sequentially. Learning is applied to the interaction, to subsequently form a sequence of synthetic pages for driving the personalized application. Analysis operation is implemented for analyzing the screen elements, for each respective page, which the user interacts with. This analysis operation lays the foundations for the production of personalized application screen pages. subsequently a vector of synthetic interface pages is produced for applying in the same or on different computing infrastructure.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: August 13, 2013

  • Patent number: 8352875
Abstract: A method for integrating a plurality of existing software applications is disclosed. The method comprises executing the plurality of existing software applications. A composite graphical user interface (GUI) is created containing selected objects. A user's interactions with each of the plurality of existing software applications are recorded to record at least one function from each of the plurality of existing software applications. The at least one recorded function from each of the plurality of existing software applications is assigned to at least one of the selected objects in the composite GUI.

  • Patent number: 6014694
Abstract: A system for adaptively transporting video over networks wherein the available bandwidth varies with time. The system comprises a video/audio codec that functions to compress, code, decode and decompress video streams that are transmitted over networks having available bandwidths that vary with time and location. Depending on the channel bandwidth, the system adjusts the compression ratio to accommodate a plurality of bandwidths ranging from 20 Kbps for POTS to several Mbps for switched LAN and ATM environments. Bandwidth adjustability is provided by offering a trade off between video resolution, frame rate and individual frame quality. The system generates a video data stream comprised of Key, P and B frames from a raw source of video. Each frame type is further comprised of multiple levels of data representing varying degrees of quality.
