Abstract: Disclosed is a cable organizer for organizing and retaining cables including a thin sheet of flexible material having at least one opening adjacent an edge of the material. The cable organizer is further comprised of openings arranged along an edge of the cable organizer and in communication with the edge to allow the passage of a cable into the opening. The openings are sized to to prevent the passage of a cable connector such that a cable connector located on the end of the cable is unable to pass through the opening. Thus, the cable end may be retained by the cable organizer in a convenient position for future re-connection. The cable organizer may also provided with an adhesive strip for adhering the cable organizer to an object.

Abstract: An article carrier adapted to be detachably interconnected with a vehicle such as an automobile, truck or trailer. The article carrier includes a connector member adapted to be telescopically received within a tubular member affixed to the vehicle and a carrier assembly carried by the connector member and a fixed arm and a swingable arm to which a generally vertically extending column and one or more outwardly extending article supporting elements is connected. The fixed arm and the swingable arm are disposed in a side-by-side relationship and are uniquely interconnected so that the arc through which the swingable arm can swing is limited. A novel clamping mechanism is provided to securely interconnect the connector members of the device with the tubular hitch in a manner to positively prevent relative vibratory movement between the members.

A clamping mechanism is provided to securely interconnect the telescoping tubular members of the device in a manner to positively prevent movement between the members.

Abstract: An article carrier adapted to be detachably interconnected with a standard, square tube trailer hitch affixed to the frame of a vehicle. The article carrier includes a connector member adapted to be telescopically received within the trailer hitch; a carrier assembly carried by the connector member, including a generally vertically extending column and one or more outwardly extending article supporting elements; and a securement mechanism carried by the carrier assembly for cooperation with the article supporting elements to secure the carried article within the carrier assemblage. First and second locking mechanisms are provided for locking the article carrier to the trailer hitch and for maintaining the securement mechanism in position relative to the article supporting element to prevent unauthorized removal of the article being carried.
