Abstract: A glass run channel mountable along a window frame and made of a thermoplastic elastomer includes a base portion, a pair of side wall portions extending from the base portion, and projections that engage the window frame. A non-slip portion made of material having a larger coefficient of friction with respect to the window frame than that of the thermoplastic elastomer is provided on a face of the base portion opposite to the window frame. The non-slip portion is less slidable on the window frame than the thermoplastic elastomer, and further less slidable due to an orthogonal load produced when the glass run channel is mounted and pressed. Therefore, the glass run channel is stably maintained at a predetermined position in the window frame even if a force is exerted by sliding the window pane repeatedly.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to reduce or prevent noise during a slide movement of a window pane for a long period of time. A plurality of projecting ridges 30 and 31 are formed on surfaces of interior and exterior sealing lips 24 and 25 of a glass run channel to be mounted on a window frame, so as to be substantially in parallel to each other along a lengthwise direction of the sealing lips 24 and 25. Each of main projecting ridges 30 and 31 is formed so that a cross-sectional shape thereof becomes substantially a scalene triangle including a longer side at a root side of each of the sealing lips 24 and 25 and a shorter side at a distal end side of the sealing lips 24 and 25.

Abstract: An opening trim including a body approximately U-shaped in section, a right-hand projection and a left-hand projection which are opposed to each other in a space surrounded with the body and mounted on an installing portion such as a flange. Each of the right-hand holding projection and the left-hand holding projection has a primary lip projecting rearward from a front portion of an inner side surface of the body, respectively. The right-hand holding projection and/or the left-hand holding projection have a secondary lip projecting inward from a rear portion of one and/or the other inner side surface of the body. Each of the secondary lips has an engaging concave temporarily engaging a leading end of each of the primary lips.
