  • Patent number: 9261936
Abstract: A network terminal includes: an oscillator circuit; a communication processing unit which transmits and receives communication data through a transmission path, using the clock; a controller unit which controls a function of the network terminal, using the clock; a clock control unit which causes the oscillator circuit to start or stop oscillating, and supply the clock; and a signal detecting unit which monitors a wave detection signal communicated through the transmission path in the case where the communication processing unit is not operating, and generates an activation signal according to which the clock control unit causes the oscillator circuit to start oscillating at a time when the wave detection signal exceeds a threshold value. The signal detecting unit is operable without using the clock, and the controller unit switches a detectable wave detection signal by changing a circuit constant of the signal detecting unit.

  • Patent number: 8700941
Abstract: A comparison section determines whether the amount of electric power acquired by a power management section is less than a predetermined threshold. A selection section selects, based on the determination result from the comparison section, at least one modulation/demodulation scheme among a plurality of kinds of modulation/demodulation schemes so that power consumption of modulation/demodulation operation is smaller when the amount of electric power is less than the predetermined threshold than when it is not less than the predetermined threshold. A power line communication function section transmits a control signal indicating the modulation/demodulation scheme selected by the selection section to the power line and performs modulation/demodulation operation under the selected modulation/demodulation scheme.

  • Publication number: 20100039241
Abstract: A terminal best in the reception state for a signal from a controller of a neighboring network is determined as the controller of the own network, to ensure sharing of inter-network control. When the reception state is not good, a terminal worst in reception state is determined as the controller, to make the own network independent from a neighboring network and hence reduce interference of a reference signal and a control signal outputted from the own terminal with the neighboring network.

  • Publication number: 20090121565
Abstract: A neutral point terminal, which is formed by electrically connecting with each other a plurality of phases of coil windings included by an alternating-current rotary electric machine having the plurality of phases, is inserted into an insulating cover prefabricated into a bag shape to be fitted thereinto, and thereby insulated from the surroundings. As a result, an insulation distance of the neutral point terminal can be ensured by simple assembly work, while variations caused by the work can be reduced.
