  • Publication number: 20080225492
Abstract: To provide an electronic device which can prevent that a heat sink constituting a source of the unnecessary radiation of electromagnetic waves with a simple structure. The electronic device which contains the heat sink in the case is constituted. A heat sink includes: a fin assembly having a wave-guide structure provided with mesh-like openings as a whole and with a plurality of arranged fins and wall portions extending from each of the openings; a heat receiving plate for receiving heat from an electronic device which is a cooled object; and heat pipes. Since each of the openings of the fin assembly has the wave-guide structure, heat generated by the electronic device is dissipated to an exterior through the openings of the fin assembly and an opening section of a case. Leakage of electromagnetic waves to the exterior is prevented by operation of the wave-guide structure.

  • Patent number: 6930891
Abstract: An electromagnetic shielding plate having high shielding effect is provided. The electromagnetic shielding plate is formed of a conductive plate having elasticity and is provided on the edge thereof with a connecting strip bent in such a manner that the tip thereof projects from the surface of the plate, and with a supporting portion. When the electromagnetic shielding plate and the printed substrate are connected, it is ensured that the ground pattern 201 of the printed board 200 and the connecting strip are brought into contact with respect to each other, thereby a high shielding effect can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 6517384
Abstract: A connector has an insulating housing with a cutout in the side through which is inserted an EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) filter. Multiple signal transmission members are extended through said insulated housing with only selected transmission members piercing the EMI filter. Because only certain signal transmission members extend through the filter, EMI measures can be taken only in the part where voltage is impressed, and by not interposing the EMI filter between non-voltage bearing transmission members, the standard electric potentials can be made uniform.

  • Patent number: 6491550
Abstract: The present invention provides an entertainment system in which the models can be discriminated between compatible operation devices. A connector of the operation device of the present invention comprises at least two recess portions on the peripheral surface thereof, and a connecting portion of a machine body is provided with at least two metal projections arranged thereon to be engaged with the respective recesses. The connector includes a metal plate, and the metal plate is exposed inside of the first recess and the second recess. A supplying portion of the machine body supplies a predetermined potential to the metal plate by supplying the predetermined potential to the first metal projection engaged with the first recess. A detecting portion of the machine body determines whether the connected operation device is the operation device or not by detecting a potential of the second metal projection engaged with the second recess.
