  • Patent number: 8901465
Abstract: A nitrogen gas tank, a rotary pump and a mechanical booster pump are connected to a bonding vessel that constitutes a bonding apparatus for carrying out diffusion bonding, the apparatus further comprising a pressure sensor. A nitrogen gas atmosphere is formed inside the bonding vessel, and under control operations of a control circuit, a nitrogen introduction rate is controlled so that a pressure is substantially fixed at a predetermined pressure between 3-105 Pa. At such a state, under the action of a rod of a hydraulic cylinder, a second electrode is brought into proximity with a first electrode, so that ultimately, a first object to be bonded and a second object to be bonded on the first electrode are pressed. Further, current is applied through the first electrode and the second electrode with respect to the first object to be bonded and the second object to be bonded.

  • Patent number: 7468493
Abstract: A method of connecting a plurality of aluminum alloys molded as a die cast member while maintaining the molded shape of the alloy is provided. An intermediate material in the form of plate or powder made of aluminum alloy is allowed to intercalate between mutually connecting surfaces of die cast members, the die cast member and/or intermediate material is constituted of an aluminum alloy, at least one of mutually contacting surfaces of the connecting surfaces and the intermediate material is constituted of a rough surface to enhance electric resistance between the contacting surfaces and the connecting surfaces are connected by applying electric current through the connecting surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20050067383
Abstract: A method of simply and strongly connecting a plurality of aluminum alloys molded as a die cast member while maintaining the molded shape of the alloy is provided. An intermediate material in the form of plate or powder made of aluminum alloy is allowed to intercalate between mutually connecting surfaces of die cast members, the die cast member and/or intermediate material is constituted of an aluminum alloy containing 0.3 to 2.5 wt % of magnesium, at least one of mutually contacting surfaces of the connecting surfaces and the intermediate material is constituted of a rough surface having a surface roughness of 20 to 300 ?m to enhance electric resistance between the contacting surfaces and the connecting surfaces are connected by applying electric current through the connecting surfaces to cause heat generation under mutual pressing while promoting the reduction reaction of an aluminum alloy oxide membrane by magnesium.

  • Patent number: 6042476
Abstract: In a communications control system which conducts communications 200 between a plurality of communications control devices, one of the plurality of communications control devices A, B forming a master device A has the right to determine environmental conditions in preference to the other communications control device B. The slave communications control device B is able to transmit the environmental conditions desired by the user of that device to the master communications control device A, and the environmental conditions determined by the master communications control device A are set as the environmental conditions for the slave device, regardless of whether or not these coincide with the environmental conditions desired by the user of the slave device. It is possible to provide communications control technology whereby, if there exist environmental conditions which affect both communications control devices jointly, these conditions can be determined in a rational manner.

  • Patent number: 5902687
Abstract: A laminated material consists of more than three single crystalline layers of a metal or alloy. The layers are joined with one another by diffusion under effects of pressurization and heating in a deoxidative atmosphere. The layers are also conformed within an angular range where crystalline orientations of composition planes of the layers can be directly joined.

  • Patent number: 4838474
Abstract: A method of diffusion bonding of aluminum or an alumina ceramic to aluminum, an alumina ceramic or a metal other than aluminum, which comprises interposing an aluminum alloy prepared by including 0.2 to 3% by weight of magnesium and/or 0.1 to 1.5% by weight of lithium into aluminum or an aluminum alloy between the surfaces of materials to be bonded, and heating said surfaces to be bonded of these materials under pressure at a temperature at which magnesium or lithium diffuses.

  • Patent number: 4730419
Abstract: A grinder wheel table feed apparatus converts rotation of a table driving motor into reciprocation movement of a grinder wheel table through a ball-screw mechanism to thereby impart a traverse movement to the grinder wheel table between a non-working position and a working position. The rotation of a reciprocation axle drive motor is converted through an eccentric cam into an oscillation movement of the grinder wheel table when the table is in its working position. A drive control system includes an encoder operable to read the rotational position of the reciprocal axle drive motor, and a control device effective to stop the eccentric cam at a predetermined eccentric angular position.

  • Patent number: 4688354
Abstract: A grinder wheel table feed apparatus which converts a rotation of the table driving motor into a reciprocation movement of the grinder wheel table through a ball-screw mechanism and exerts a traverse movement to the table between a stand-by position and a working position. Additionally, a device of the invention converts a rotation of a reciprocation axle drive motor into a reciprocal movement of said table through an eccentric cam, and it also exerts an oscillation operation to the table in its working position. A drive control means of said eccentric cam is comprised of an encoder operable to read a rotation position of the reciprocal axle drive motor and to control same through a control device so as to be effective to stop the eccentric cam at a predetermined angle.
