  • Publication number: 20150226397
Abstract: A light emitting module includes a plurality of light source units having a rectangular plate shape and a base unit having an elongated rectangular plate shape. The light source units are disposed along a straight line and mounted to the base unit. The light emitting module further includes an optical cover configured to diffuse light emitted from the light source units. The optical cover has a rectangular shape when seen in a plan view and configured to cover the light source units. A length of each of sides of the optical cover and the light source units parallel to short sides of the base unit is substantially equal to a length of each of the short sides of the base unit.

  • Publication number: 20150069905
Abstract: Auxiliary wiring boards 5a and 5b have electrode pads 51a and 51b which are electrically connected to electrode extraction units 26a and 26b of an organic EL device 21 and metal pads 52a and 52b which are electrically connected to the electrode pads 51a and 51b. The metal pads 52a and 52b are wire-bonded to metal lands 31a and 31b of a wiring board 3 by ultrasonic waves at a low joining temperature. Accordingly, a thermal denaturation of the organic EL device 21 can be suppressed and moreover, the organic EL device 21 can be electrically connected to the wiring board 3 regardless of whether the electrode extraction units 26a and 26b are made up of the metal material or the non-metal material.

  • Publication number: 20150023024
Abstract: A light emitting module includes a surface emitting panel and an optical member located at the light emitting surface side of the surface emitting panel. The surface emitting panel has a light emitting region and a non-light emitting region. The optical member has a reflector in the region corresponding to the light emitting region. The reflector has a reflectivity distribution in which the average reflectance per unit area varies. According to this configuration, light emitted from the surface emitting panel and guided by the optical member is reflected by the reflector and emitted in front of the non-light emitting region. By this way, a region in front of the non-light emitting region is difficult to be dark, thus allowing the light emission area to be increased. Further, where a number of light emitting modules are arranged in a matrix as a lighting device, a uniform illumination surface is provided.

  • Publication number: 20140247600
Abstract: A lighting device 1 includes a planar light-emitting panel 4 and a translucent material 5 disposed on a light-emitting surface side of the planar light-emitting panel 4. The planar light-emitting panel 4 has a light-emitting region 4A and a non-light-emitting region 4B. The translucent material 5 has a reflection part 51 in a region facing the non-light-emitting region 4B. Light emitted from the planar light-emitting panel 4 and guided into the translucent material 5 is reflected by the reflection part 51 and emitted to the front side of the non-light-emitting region 4B. Accordingly, the front side of the non-light-emitting region 4B does not become a dark section, so that it is capable of increasing the light irradiation region and giving the light irradiation surface having uniform illuminance even if the plural lighting devices 1 are arranged in a matrix form.
