The first row of seats units comprises a first seat unit, a second seat unit, a third seat unit and no further seat units. The first aisle is positioned adjacent the first outboard sidewall and separates the first outboard sidewall and the first seat unit, the second seat unit is positioned adjacent the first seat unit, and the third seat unit is spaced apart from the second seat unit by the second aisle, the third seat unit being positioned adjacent the second outboard sidewall.

The temporary privacy modules selectively enclose a portion of the non-passenger seating areas. The temporary privacy modules include a support and a privacy device. The privacy device is movable relative to the support between a stowed position and a deployed position. In the deployed position, the privacy device encloses the portion of the non-passenger seating area and defines a temporary privacy room within the non-passenger seating area.

Abstract: A locking assembly of a lavatory door in an aircraft, comprising: a locking mechanism; and an occupancy indicator. The occupancy indicator is configured with a display that enables viewing of a status of the lavatory of availability or is occupancy. The position of the locking mechanism and occupancy indicator has been changed from a higher location on the lavatory door that approximates a line-of-sight from a standing position at the lavatory door to a lower location that approximates the line-of-sight from a seated position at the lavatory door. The display of the occupancy indicator is configured with a plurality of display angles to display the status comprising at least a first display angle to allow viewing from the line-of-sight in the standing position and at a second display angle to allow viewing from the line-of-sight in a seated lower position at the lavatory door.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to pretreating a magnetic recording head. For a HAMR head, a NFT is present. Current can be applied to the NFT to condition the NFT. The current is applied in one of three ways: slowly ramping up the current from a starting level below a level capable of writing data to the optical laser current over a predetermined period of time, applying the current at a fixed value below the optical laser current for the predetermined period of time, or slowly ramping up the current from a starting level below a level capable of writing data to the optical laser current over the predetermined period of time while also intermittently removing the current. By conditioning the NFT in such a manner, the HAMR head can avoid thermal shock and thermal fatigue and thus increase the lifetime of the magnetic media drive.
